Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

I am hoping for a happy event. Quite the rarity for a soap wedding.

Had a tear in my eye at that last scene with Peter and Tracy. I am so gutted Peter is leaving

Realistically the Kirk, Beth thing wouldn't happen surely. I wonder though if they start to make his character less thick like they did with Tyrone.

So Lloyd is going in the jungle, is it too much to hope for that Andrea will be written out at the same time or are we going to have to suffer her moping about his absence?

Or she goes too, and gets eaten...just joking, sort of...

I love the Bananarama bridesmaids!

Maybe living with Andrea will be one if the Bushtucker Trials.

Watched the last three episodes back to back. Far too much of Cal's family! I really thought Carla was going to give in at one point and give Peter a second chance. Glad she didn't. Is Tracey going to put a spanner in the works re the huge knicker contracts? She looked very sly overhearing Carla and Michelle in the shop. I really don't like Cilla and am disappointed after waiting so long for her to come back! Seemed funny seeing Joseph as a 'proper' character for once. Bored with Todd's story.

Just read the Windasses are moving into the Bookies flat - isnt it only a two bed? So Anna, Owen, Katie, Jozeff, Faye and Gary!?

Katie and Joseph live with Steph but yes still the rest of them! That flat is tiny! It used to be just Peter, Simon and Leanne the rabbit.

Tracey is definitely up to something.

Gary doesn't live anywhere, he just lurks about ... Pointless character.

Apparently Lizzie is going to offer to put Gary up on the sofa, as the flat is so small.

I don't want Peter to leave

Would be nice to match Carla up with someone new though I much prefer happy Carla!

I like happy, sarcy in your face Carla too. Prefer her to stay single a while and her and Sally drive each other nuts.

Sally is a very underrated comedy actress.

jill made me laugh Gary doesn't live anywhere. I actually liked Gary with Issy was good to see a positive portrayal of person with a disability being the strong one. Then they ruined it with the silly Tina surrogate and Gary being unable to resist St Tina's charm.

Agree re Sally. I think the Tim and Sally pairing has allowed Sally's comedy side to really be shown. I love them together.

I really like Carla, she is one of my favourite female characters in it. I will miss Peter, I always liked him. Hope he comes back sometime.

Peter is in panto in Birmingham this Christmas. Interview in my local paper says he will come back eventually.

I'm glad it's been left open to him returning.
Am a bit afraid now that YASMEEN and co will take centre stage when the Peter storyline ends.
Even the elusive package for Norris (which is nonsensical) is a way better storyline than the community centre stuff.

Wonder if Yasmeen and husband will move into the Windass's empty house.

Oh lord I hope not! That suggests a longevity I am not happy with.

Id quite like Eva and Jason to move into their own place - maybe they could live there and start making beautiful babies.

wish Jim was still in. even though he was annoying he was comical.

Not interested in Yasmeen and her family at all. Never really understood why Izzy and Gary split upjust seemed to happen so quickly and painlessly. After all they went through to get Jake I would have thought they would have been more committed to each other

I don't think anyone is interested in YASMEEN, and I'm hoping they write her out, but I've a bad feeling that they will keep her, and even move her onto the Street.

Was Kal his CO? Confused when he seemed to be referring to Kal in the army? ( Missed a big chink of Corrie when Kal arrived - is that the connection?)
