Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

Cilla is going to stay I meant...

There is a huge communal dormitory that runs along the houses. Everyone that needs extra space sleeps up there. in the semi's they have the attic and then climb into Sally's house too.

Lots of things bugging me from last night -

• in RL, would someone really get released from a murder conviction as soon as someone else was arrested for it? What if it then went to court and that person was found not guilty?

• the continued absence of Deirdre. It would almost have been better to pretend she'd returned in Tracey's hour of need and was spending lots of time 'upstairs' comforting her.

• has Katy forgotten she ever had a child? She spends zero time with him. I would have thought they could get a lot of mileage from having Cilla giving her a hard time for cheating on Chesney.

• where did the animosity between Beth and Cilla come from? Last time I saw a scene with them together they seemed quite pally, then last night there were all these little digs and looks

• as said above, they're stretching the number of people who can live in a two-up two-down terrace to ridiculous levels!

I normally love Corrie, but am finding it harder and harder to suspend disbelief!

It annoys me that no matter what shameful event is happening in their lives they still go to The Rovers.
Brother guilty of murder? Off to prop the bar up (Carla).

And another thing - Anna also seems to have forgotten the constant on-line messaging between Tim and Faye when he first appeared

Am off to the studio tour tomorrow, the last time I went Des Barnes had his boat in the back garden

What should I buy in the shop??

I'm laughing because on another forum that I'm on, one guy who posts asked this very thing. In fact, his head is fit to explode, I'd say with all the things he sees wrong with the Rob/ Peter storyline. . It really bugs him, I can tell by his posts.
In reality, I'd guess he wouldn't be released that quickly but I suppose they have to move it along, in soap time.

Liverpool I totally agree about the childcare this week. At least mention Joseph and imply he is being looked after by someone at home. Where does he actually live, with Katy?

At Fiz's house, is the loft conversion to be completed or has it been forgotten, wouldn't they be in chaos even if Jason has redecorated, all the stuff out the loft would be hanging around upstairs.

I did it earlier this year, and loved it. We were laughing at ourselves in the group, we were all so excited.

Does being the supervisor in the factory always mean walking round with that damned clipboard. Doesn't matter who it is, over the years whoevers got that bloody job carries it. Now it's Sallys turn. It's so annoying. Give her some work to do damn it.

Wouldn't it all be on an Ipad now anyway?

are the houses in Corrie 3 bed not 2 as we always assumed in regard to Eileen and Todd mentioning box room and Cilla sleeping in Craig's room.

Probably Sparkling but it's just so annoying that they assume all a supervisor had to do was walk round with one in her hand. There must be a thousand and one jobs she should be doing but no, the supervisor must have clipboard at all times.

So true. It's like a baton in a relay race, it passes on, and on, and on. I wonder is it the same clipboard Ivy (I think she was a supervisor ) had, way back then.

Well I've finally finished my speedy catch up on Corrie after my holiday (useful that I could just fast forward through every scene with Kal's family - that saved me a lot of time).

I was so worried when I saw the posts about our beloved Steve - thank goodness it all seems to be a false alarm.

I was laughing at Sally and the clipboard tonight too - I want to know what's on it. The list of cream cake orders?

How can 6 people who spend more time gossiping and going to the pub make 10000 pairs of knickers?

The whole damn Cilla & her osteoporosis storyline is driving me mad. It's being so badly represented I hope it's going to turn out to be one of her scams otherwise the National Osteoporosis Society & it's members must be pulling their hair out over how the condition is being shown

The whole Todd thing is ridiculous! I sniggered at his Phantom "don't look at me!" line.

Jill2015 It was fab, quite surreal when you walk out onto the street! I couldn't see a Steve magnet in the shop but bought the photo of Dd and me pulling a pint and a jigsaw for me to give to DH at Christmas! Really wishing I'd got a Norris face mask tho

Dd and I watched Corrie last night saying "we've been there" over and over again!

Omg YES at Todd's 'don't look at me' so over dramatic! He was only missing the back of his hand against his forehead!

Looking at next week's spoilers on Digital Spy I'm wondering if Craig is in the frame to father Faye's (as yet unconceived) baby.
