Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

Perhaps the Community Centre could incorporate a creche. Then we might see who the mystery childminder is. My money is on it being Fat Brenda moonlighting from her cab job.

The sneering, sneaky, revengeful David of old would never have put up with Kylie's excuses for going missing hours on end. I know he loves her and all that, but he's another example of a character changing his personality per Maddie, Leanne, etc! I'm hoping he follows Kylie and has it out with the vile Callum and her soon. Mind you, might make it tricky about him collecting Max from school, but wait, it's half term! COME ON DAVID sort it out!

I was also quite impressed with the parking situation at Bessie St, surely under normal circumstances a parent deciding to rock up outside a school at the last minute would be trapped by parked cars about 50 yards away from the school gate??

Tracey said to Izzy 'it would be nice to be asked' when they were talking about changing names when getting married. I suspect you are right about Beth's lines and they do keep referencing Deirdre rather than the usual just mentioning once and then forgetting they existed.

Really hoping evil david returns and throws kylie max callum les dennis in the canal. He can keep lilly. Honestly the les dennis story was bad enough and now this idiotic story about kylie. Bore off.

I'm still confused about Les Dennis. Is it right that he had one dizzy spell, then found out his dad died of a heart attack so concluded he had minutes to live before he'd even been tested for anything, or did I miss something?

Anne Kirkbride has asked for a couple of months off to deal with 'personal issues' according to the Daily Mail.

Carla is my favourite female character, I thought she was brilliant last night, and all through the Peter saga, but especially the night she gave evidence in his trial.

He went for tests also, and I think they were the results he was wittering to Eileen about, last night. I was only half watching, but I took it that he hasn't opened the envelope yet.
I laughed, in the shop, when he apologised to Kev for pushing ahead, because he had left Lloyd covering for him. Somehow the taxi office never gives the impression of being THAT busy, that he would be under such pressure to get back!

Tracy married Roy because she was making out that he was the father of Amy (she drugged him and made him believe they'd had sex). then she tried to sell him and Hayley the baby - Amy was originally called Patience!
