I am. £3 and lose coppers to live off for a week Shock

whineaholic · 12/03/2014 21:21

This is very skewed. Two of those women are smokers but the bias of the programme will not show this, you can tell by their skin, teeth and voices.

This is sad but if you have three children by more than one father and haven't built a career to go back to then chances are you are going to end up poor, sadly.

ImperialBlether · 12/03/2014 21:22

Rachel Johnson is coming across as a complete twat.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 12/03/2014 21:24

isn't she just

misstiredbuthappy · 12/03/2014 21:26

Feel sorry for that paul having to put 25 a week just on his meter and he only gets 55 s week Shock

The woman staying with the bloke (don't know who she is) - I can see her paying his electricity bill.

Quangle · 12/03/2014 21:30

I didn't catch why he couldn't work any more but Shock at the heating.

And the loan Shock

whineaholic · 12/03/2014 21:31

She's just admitted to being up to her eyes in debt from buying stuff to , " keep up with the Jones's".

So, other woman no whas £60 worth of debt too so borrowed from a loan shark for Xmas.

Yup - very skewed programme.

ImperialBlether · 12/03/2014 21:31

He had a collapsed lung, Quangle. Not sure whether that affects him working now, but it's why he stopped work.

whineaholic · 12/03/2014 21:32

Most of those children will be having free school meals so they will be getitng a hot meal monday to Friday.

misstiredbuthappy · 12/03/2014 21:32

Its seems to me 2 of them are left with no money because they have to pay back loans that have very high interest. There stuck. When you have no money and the only way of getting it is by getting a loan ... you will I suppose :( been therere myself.

BigPawsBrown · 12/03/2014 21:32

Who is narrating?cant place them

ImperialBlether · 12/03/2014 21:32

I don't think school meals are very filling, though.

Was that a large dog oh and yes - £12 a week on fags, Hmm.

kilmuir · 12/03/2014 21:34

No sympathy. They took out loans, in debt thats their fault. She smokes rather than buy decent food! Fathers all absent, say no more

ImperialBlether · 12/03/2014 21:35

I just don't understand why people are literally burning money when they are so broke. I have every sympathy but just don't understand that.

whineaholic · 12/03/2014 21:35

They got loans to buy stuff - they admitted this. Those school meals looked very filling indeed!

kilmuir · 12/03/2014 21:36

Why doesn't ex painter work on checkouts, sitting down. Why not tell his children , ridiculous?
I assume his lung is repaired?

ThreeBeeOneGee · 12/03/2014 21:36

DS1 (14) wanted to watch this, as he is concerned about inequality & social justice. I'm watching with him.

RJ sounds quite patronising, imo.

kilmuir · 12/03/2014 21:36

Programme is actually putting me off donating!

OcadoSubstitutedMyHummus · 12/03/2014 21:36

Cheryl seems dim and is annoying

Spencer seems dim but sweet. I've never seen made in Chelsea. He seems very nice with the kids.

Philoslothy · 12/03/2014 21:37

I feel very uncomfortable that rich people have swooped into fix poor people.

ThreeBeeOneGee · 12/03/2014 21:37

I wonder how the moneylenders can sleep at night.
