BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

OP posts:
CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 20:45

Steven's an awful gawper innit?

Monica's championing him I think

MsJupiterJones · 12/12/2013 20:46

Stephen's pud looks like the inside of the Very Hungry Caterpillar at the end of the week.

HRHwheezing · 12/12/2013 20:46

I'd like to eat Scott's dessert. Yum!

CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 20:47

Little piles of food has been overtaken by scattergun approach - note to selfSmile

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/12/2013 20:49

Did Adam make the brioche or bring it in?

This is the first micro-whatever of the series. Last series was all about micro herbs and micro veg and similar.

carabos · 12/12/2013 20:49

And it's bye bye Adam. Two buts there. Stephen is champ.

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 20:50

Oh dear, Michel is not convinced by Adam's food at all.

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/12/2013 20:51

I think you could be right there carabos - too dry, too bitter, too garlicy - not great.

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/12/2013 20:52

Bloody hell, did Adam come to Michel's wife or something? Shock

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 20:53

Unless of course, Michel was expecting so very much from Adam that he was destined to always feel let down.

CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 20:53

Tee is this still part of the arc? Do you think?
There'll be tears before bedtime

HRHwheezing · 12/12/2013 20:54

Stephen to win, given that critique.

Adam hasn't come that far has he?

But Adam will be ok regardless of whether he wins or not.

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/12/2013 20:55

Wtf? Weird father issues there? Monica and Zippy looked a bit frightened.

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 20:57

I still think Adam.

CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 20:57

Rofl winkly

I want Scotty to win I think

carabos · 12/12/2013 20:58

I've been team Adam from the start, but I think Stephen has pinched it.

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 20:59

It would do the most for Scott

CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 20:59

DisappointedShock

SignoraStronza · 12/12/2013 21:00

Oh no, not that slack jawed smarmy sycophant! Didn't really warm to him - can you tell?

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 21:00

Well done Stephen. Hope his wife forgives him now!

Theas18 · 12/12/2013 21:00

Steven? Nah. Should have been a double award surely. Scott was robbed!

Actually if they worked together wouldn't that an amazing eating place!

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/12/2013 21:00

Well there you go. Ballotines of champagne cooked sous vide to the winner, dinner for 3 with gregg at nandos for the runners up.

See you all for the next amateur round.

SconeForAStroll · 12/12/2013 21:03

I really hope that Scott doesn't take losing to heart. He had come such a long way, his whole demeanour had changed over the course of the series.

Go home proud Scotty, you were so close.

Jux · 12/12/2013 21:26

Did Adam really say something about it always being between him and Stephen, at the end there? Shock

In which case I've gone right off him.

I thought it could have gone to any of the 3 of them, until today. If Adam really did say ^ then he was hoist with his own petard; a little over-confidence can seriously fuck you up.

IndridCold · 12/12/2013 21:26

Sad for Scott, although I think he will have done himself a lot of good during this ordeal. You could see his confidence rising during this week.

Adam is obviously an amazing chef, but I don't think he has changed or developed much during this series.

Stephen seemed to have won because he produced the best food on the day, and he has also come on a lot during the challenge.

But the most pressing question is - Is Greg Wallace the most irritating twat on the planet? He is the only person who makes me want to hit him very, very hard with a baseball bat.
