This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

Please don't let MN be broken tomorrow. I may have to do housework Sad

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 09/10/2013 23:17

Haven't been able to get on or watch todays, but have been smirking at

"Is that Heston's cricket bat?" - surely not before the watershed?

ClayDavis · 09/10/2013 23:39

Hooray! Mumsnet is fixed. Caught up earlier but couldn't catch up with the thread.

Don't think I could take Fleur as a permanent character. She does my head in. This week should definitely be her final apperance.

OohDoctorDarcy · 10/10/2013 09:05

Yay for MN being back. Hoping we aren't too invaded in the next few weeks now there's been some publicity

Raahh · 10/10/2013 09:33

it was a very strange day yesterday.

I have had very little sleep, and need today to be more normal.

Thanks Grin
AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/10/2013 10:27

Has there been a lot of publicity?

Yesterday's was totally WTF.

Will be here to watch live today. Hope MN isn't still being powered by a three-legged hamster.

Raahh · 10/10/2013 10:50

Anne- it seems to have taken over everything. Even on FB, the most unlikely people out of my friends were commenting on it. And I don't think they are on MNConfused

I wouldn't mind if it had actually been that good. Of all the truly WTF threads I've seen on here, it didn't stand out as anything special.

The Doctors threads much more fun

Raahh · 10/10/2013 10:51

Aghh- Cbeebies just had a technical fault.

I hope that had nothing to do with willy dunkingShock

AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/10/2013 11:00

What have I missed? I thought you were talking about Doctors publicity! I thought Ood was worried we would get loads of new people on this thread!

Raahh · 10/10/2013 11:11

I thought Ood was worried about troll invasions due to the Penis beaker thread, since it's been in the papers and 'broke' MN.

But I might be wrong.Grin

It had better stay unbroken for Austen week! and the X Factor threads

Grin
AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/10/2013 11:17

I have no idea what Penis Beaker is about.

Oh my goodness, it had better not be broken for Austen week. Shock

Raahh · 10/10/2013 11:25

I'm really looking forward to Austen week- and glad it is next week, not the week after when the older dcs are offBlush

Mind you, dd2 hasn't exactly been supportive of me Doctors viewing of lateGrin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/10/2013 11:30

I'm glad it is next week too, as we are away after that for two weeks for half term. Although I will miss Friday's as we fly next Friday. At least I should get to see the costume episodes!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 10/10/2013 11:55

I posted quite early on "that" thread, it was very funny at first, but didn't keep up with it, past experience has told me that nothing is funny enough to sustain 500+ posts. It hasn't come up on my FB, but DH says it has been mentioned on a forum he uses.

At work but planning to be home on time to watch live today.

MsNobodyAgain · 10/10/2013 12:09

Some people are being very vocal about their disapproval of it on several threads that have followed. Makes me think, 'ok, we GET it. You didn't like the thread'.

It's like vultures picking over the bones. Any number of threads on here could go viral. I feel quite sorry for the OP as it goes but hey ho, we're all entitled to our opinion.

I've obviously got a grump on after being at hospital all morning. Sorry Angry
