Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 20:00

Oh that's good news, Raahh. What a relief!

Raahh · 08/10/2013 20:18

Well, he's home (with a sling)Grin Dh took him to MacDonalds for some fries. Everyone is happy. (except me, I didn't get any fries).Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 20:22

Catching up now as had meeting at school! Head actually told the chair of governors to tell me thanks but no thanks as I took the kids sleeping Shock. He told her she had to be flexible and it went very smoothly with my children sleeping soundly!

The neighbour is annoying and rude. Fleur is awful. Poor Zara, can't read in peace! Oooh MrsT and Zara finding common ground Hmm

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 20:24

Can't believe they didn't bring you fries Raahh! Glad ds is fine. I would be very cross with school, it doesake you wonder how sensible schools are.

I loved Chris Moyles and find Nick Grimshaw very annoying! I rarely listen in the morning now and I tend to listen to local radio if I'm in the car.

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 20:26

Oh dear, erectile dysfunction. Dh's ex has asked him on more than one occasion if he takes Viagra as men his age often have problems Hmm, he's 47!

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 20:28

Blathering creatures Shock

OohDoctorDarcy · 08/10/2013 20:35

Love the twists & turns of this thread :)

curlyclaz13 · 08/10/2013 20:43

Glad your ds is not too seriously injured raahh.
We had a cat that loved McDonald's fries, if you were foolish enough to put your bag of food down he would shove his head in a root out the fries.Hmm

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 20:51

Is there anyone who doesn't love mcdonalds fries?!?

I've given up as the bt vision box keeps crashing, my try on my phone after gbbo :)

Raahh · 08/10/2013 20:56

I'm getting cross watching GBBO. What a flipping fix.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 21:25

Oh Raahh I've just been shouting about the fix in GBBO on the GBBO thread. It is a bloody disgrace.

Raahh · 08/10/2013 21:41

I'm not brave enough for the GBBO thread.

It's like Strictly, I love Strictly, but some threads I don't feel I can butt in on with myexpertise opinionsGrin

OohDoctorDarcy · 08/10/2013 21:53

Me too (on both) Raah

cinnamongreyhound · 08/10/2013 21:58

Why a fix?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 22:01

Oh I didn't realise that! I have gone in and just said exactly what I think!

It is a fix because Ruby's wasn't criticised at all, despite looking like it had been made by someone who was drunk, but everyone else's was criticised harshly.

I think Ruby could put a Gregg's iced bun on a plate and Paul Hollywood would faint with delight.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 22:04

Actually, now you mention it, last week someone told me off for criticising Ruby because her mum might read it. I just thought the person was a loon and carried on regardless!

Raahh · 08/10/2013 22:14

Anne It's like the X Factor threads. I love them they are usually my fault

but the shows have been going so long that the excuse that soem are are young and therefore beyond criticism irks me. They know what they are getting into.

At 22, I had a degree, a job, a house. I didn't sob over a shit cakeGrin.

Raahh · 08/10/2013 22:15

I am a heartless cow

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 22:44

Oh yes, that pisses me off. So many times people say "oh she's only 20" blah blah blah. Or "She's just so young, she has no self confidence".

If you go on a talent show of any kind you have to have bucketloads of self belief. Otherwise you would be sat at home on the sofa watching.

The other thing that pisses me off is people constantly saying that the person is actually lovely, they are just being edited badly. I fail to see how editing can put words into people's mouths. If you don't say it, they can't show it!

I too am a heartless cow!

Cinnamon - yes, DS doesn't like Macdonalds fries (or any sort of chip, or any sort of potato product at all).

Just finished GBBO, yes, I feel the same about Ruby and her wonky shed. I also feel the same about the threads for GBBO, Strictly and sometimes even Downton, Strictly are the worst though, make me feel like a complete ignoramus. Corrie and Doctors are about the only ones I can hold my own on .
