This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 14:01

Is there really an exhibition coming to Birmingham? If so, I want to go.

FOD or Chris - what a crap choice!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 14:06

This Austen stuff is making me want to re-read them all again. I may download them to the Kindle in time for my holiday.

I am going to miss all the Austen references, I am more of a Stephen King girl.
why did the neighbour suddenly need an ambulance ? Surely a home visit would fix him.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 14:14

Well I have just downloaded them all apart from Sense And Sensibility free of charge to my Kindle.

curlyclaz13 · 08/10/2013 14:14

yawn the feeder story won't go away. where's my WTF ?

MsNobodyAgain · 08/10/2013 14:14

Pancreatitis curly. V. serious. It's actually being a bit true to life for once, unlike the Fleur/FOD storyline where the case has been fast-tracked to court for this Friday.

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/10/2013 14:16

I am a true SDTP - I am going to join them in their Austen readathon!

madhairday · 08/10/2013 14:24

OOh I may do some downloading. Haven't read Northanger Abbey or Mansfield park in yonks.

why taf is Mrs Bucket on? What happened to OFAH?

I did prefer Escape to the Country, I must say.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 08/10/2013 14:57

I haven't read any of them for about 20 years. We are immersed in Austen references here (her house is just down the road) - street names, Austen themed events, bus loads of tourists standing in the road taking photos. I will feel at home!

OohDoctorDarcy · 08/10/2013 15:12

I'm not sure what they've fast tracked to court. Is it care proceedings? There's a mass of paperwork to complete and Mandy's word wouldn't count for much as the previous health people would already have fed into it.
taking Doctors too seriously again
