This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

Grin

It's a bit like me and bacon WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes, apparently I'm the only person who doesn't like it. Maybe you ds is the only one who doesn't like mcdonalds fries Wink. My friends girls don't like chips but eat mcdonalds ones!

I thought that Ruby's was praised for all the techniques she used. The others all seemed to me to be critisised for flavour rather than design or presentation? I do watch but I'm not an avid viewer as my its go to be at 8 so usually see the second half if I remember its on.

I don't think age is a reason for anything, if you're competing as an adult you are an adult. I bought my first house at 19 and hated being treated like a kid just wanted to be grown up Dh says I've always been 45.

OohDoctorDarcy · 09/10/2013 08:40

me too Cinnamon

MsN this is post 903 Shock think we will need a new thread today or tomorrow depending on how much we blather

Raahh · 09/10/2013 09:24

I have just been re-watching the GBBO bits i missed (because dh insisted on talking to me)Grin

I think the editing this year is responsible for a lot of it-I've never really noticed it before. They are definitely editing it to show Kimberley as the cocky one ,who can't take criticism, and Ruby as the doe-eyed 'I'm rubbish, me' un confident one (who is probably hard as nails when the cameras aren't there') Grin

I'm hoping to watch live today. Mind you- I don't much like the Feeder storyline, and am concerned there are going to be a lot of these types of stories. They seem to be sneakily making Fleur a permanent fixtureHmm.

And when is the 'much loved' character meant to be coming back? Surely they didn't mean Fleur?Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 09/10/2013 09:40

Please don't let Fleur be permenant!!!

Raahh · 09/10/2013 09:49

cinnamon- it would be a disaster. i would have to boycott the showShock over the Christmas break Grin.I'm hoping they are merely toying with us, and she will disappear, the same way Stalker Val did.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 09/10/2013 10:05

Oh the GBBO lot are out to get me by quoting opinion as fact. I think you were right, Raahh!

Raahh · 09/10/2013 10:13

Anne- I've just seen that! Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 09/10/2013 11:06

Hi all. I am out today so I'll start the next thread tonight. That should see us through the rest of the week and Austen week.

OohDoctorDarcy · 09/10/2013 18:37

Happychook welcome to the thread. you may now never leave

Raahh · 09/10/2013 19:37

Right- I'm about to catch up.

Another stalker?
Has he got agoraphobia?(sp)

Interesting TBFE stuffing his face, whilst criticising the obese patient.

I'm having trouble with the site today- for once, I don't think it is my computer.

In fact I am going to give up today. Sad

It's all gone a bit Hitchcock.Hmm

Raahh · 09/10/2013 19:38

Kevin is all heart- but he has a point.

Raahh · 09/10/2013 19:41

The mother is really annoying me.

I know I'm supposed to feel sympathetic , but I don't.

Raahh · 09/10/2013 19:42

pmsl @ the dummy and 'monkey tennis'

AnneEyhtMeyer · 09/10/2013 20:44

This is the first time I've managed to get on MN this evening. Currently watching today's.

This is Rear Window, isn't it? Are they sneaking in a Hitchcock day before Austen week?

Al's shoes are bizarre.

Raahh · 09/10/2013 20:56

I'm notconvinced MN is working today.

it was Rear Window. All very strange.

MsNobodyAgain · 09/10/2013 21:10

I have tried and given up all hope of starting the new thread tonight as MN seems to be running purely on the energy produced by a 3 legged hamster in a wheel.

FFS!
