This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

Grin

Oh, yes, Anne- a Hardy week would suit you.

I need a Harry and the Dinosuars weekGrin

Mind you, I was quite chuffed by my Dickens nc and I won a prize it was theRaahhtfuldodger Grin

OohDoctorDarcy · 05/10/2013 17:39

Surely there could be a Doctor Who week for the anniversary?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/10/2013 17:44

I think of you every time DD wants Harry and the Dinosaurs for her bedtime story, Raahh! Grin

toldmywrath · 05/10/2013 17:45

Perhaps Whoknowswheremissbennettgoes? Who knows !

toldmywrath · 05/10/2013 17:47

A very tenuous one for me would be "holdmywrap" (an old fashioned saying-what do you think?)

Raahh · 05/10/2013 18:01

Anne Grin

Ood ! Doctors Doctor Who week!! Now that would be so great. Grin

I can see Heston as an older Doctor Who, Kevin as a Matt Smith type, and Jizz as a simpering companionGrin. Jimmi would be a weasel-like alien from planet Wales. 6tl and Chris culd die a horrible death could be Psycho-style mother/son baddies.

The Mill is clearly bigger on the inside, than it looks from the outsideGrin

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/10/2013 18:30

Al would be a Dalek.

I quite like your suggestion Told, it's a bit long though.

Raahh · 05/10/2013 18:33

Grin @ Al as a dalek.

Was it the Slitheen who were aliens wearing, erm, large framed people suits?

OohDoctorDarcy · 05/10/2013 18:45

I just came with that idea raah

Gobby would be one of those characters that doesn't believe/misses it all.

TBFE could be UNIT?

Raahh · 05/10/2013 18:59

I can definitely see Karen as one who doesn't get it.Too busy gossiping, and being nosey.

Barry would discover the Tardis parked in a Doctors only parking space and get all jobs-worth.

OohDoctorDarcy · 05/10/2013 19:34

Oh yes. Zara would be all snotty with the Doctor and make catty comments on 'bigger on the inside'

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/10/2013 19:38

Actually, speaking of Thread-Favourite Barry, from reading the spoilers I see he is back for Austen week!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/10/2013 19:39

Zara would argue with the Tardis.

Raahh · 05/10/2013 19:47

Zara would have a Sonic Stiletto Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/10/2013 20:04

Actually, if they ever had a female Dr Who then Zara would be the woman for it. The Daleks wouldn't stand a chance!

OohDoctorDarcy · 05/10/2013 20:11

Or the tardis could land in Zara's office which would piss her off for a whole week of episodes.

Btw I loved in Fridays when she talked for an hour unprepared!

Raahh · 05/10/2013 22:00

mrs T could don her tabard and clean the tardis (whilst really being the baddy).

OohDoctorDarcy · 06/10/2013 07:23

Actually Al could be CrackerAl again and be the Doctors geek on Earth a la Mickey Smith.

cinnamongreyhound · 06/10/2013 07:38

You guys have waaay more imagination than me!

OohDoctorDarcy · 06/10/2013 09:15

Just a bit Dr Who obsessed cinnamon Blush

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 06/10/2013 10:28

I haven't watched it since about 1976, the daleks are about all I know.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/10/2013 11:23

DH watches it so I see it. I spend most of my time pointing out plot-holes and getting annoyed that every dire situation is rescued with use of the sonic screwdriver.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/10/2013 11:24

Oh, and yes, I do see the irony of criticising plot-holes in another programme on a Doctors thread. Grin

Raahh · 06/10/2013 11:25

I love Doctor Who. Am very excited about the anniversary episodes.
The last series disapponted me a bit, though. So I'm hoping they've saved the best for this.

The writers really need us to help with the themed weeks. We are very goodGrin

Dp you think we can fill this thread in time for a new one for Austen week ?
