Hoggy - just seen your comment above about Kevin McCloud v TBFE. Kevin M is very sexy, in an intelligent way. I could listen to him for hours. TBFE I would have other plans for.

My meeting has been moved have responded to email as politely as I could and have had no response! Poxy people, lucky all I do is sit at home watching daytime tv so I can make all meetings at a moments notice, oh no I actually have a job! Have to draft in my stepdad to have ds2 and take two minded sleeping in pushchair or can't go but they haven't bothered to let me know if that will be suitable :(

Oh the gits! I think you need to state that all meetings and changes to meetings require two-week's notice. Anything less than that the nursery will have to provide care for all children in your care at the time of the meeting.

I've just started watching. Spent today in Ikea and this evening watching DH assemble furniture while I get everything else done. Need a bit of light relief.

Just finished, that really was WTF!

Something funny has just happened, flicked over to FB and one of my friends is off work sick and has just posted that they have got hooked on Doctors. That's exactly what happened to me. Great minds think alike!

Funnily enough I did think that. It actually was like a military operation. There's a woman with a clipboard who takes your name and directs you to your allocated room. Each room has a nurse and a receptionist who simultaneously book you in and jab you. TBFE would have been proud.

I assume the 11:24 thing is just that they book people in at 1-2 min intervals so not everybody turns up at 9am.

I had mine yesterday and similar military precision. I jumped the queue as I was quicker than the old people to take their coats off

I work in a hospital so usually get it done at work. They just have open drop in clinics so the queue can be out the door if you time it wrong. Never again. This was so much more civilised.

I had to queue out the door for mine and DS2s flu jabs. It was all progressing nicely until we reached the room. It took 4 people to hold him down but I am strangely proud of his strength.

I've just read the spoilers.

Austen week looks very wtf, and one of the descriptions includes the phrase 'attack of the vapours', which is promising.

Love the namechange, Ood. I am lacking inspiration for an Austen one, will have to think.

Me too Raahh - looking forward to it though. I too am out of inspiration for a namechange, we just cycled through the village where Jane Austen's house is and I was racking my brains.
