Dh has just said he knows apparently! It's the guy from the bt adverts! How he knows this or where it came from is a mystery to me! He isn't the Moff!

The new Doctor definitely isn't a woman. Earlier today sleb photographer Rankin tweeted to say he'd just photographed the new Doctor for the promo releases and that "he is going to be amazing".

Not sure what kind of doc I'd like to see. We've had quite a few high energy, fast talking, making-it-up-as-they-go cheeky chaps. I'd like to see an older, wiser, more serious doctor, I think. Someone a bit scathing.

A woman would be great, but doubt it will happen.
I heard there are a few black men in the running and think that's a more likely choice.
I feel there may be some kind of surprise - though I guess a new doctor is always slightly surprising anyhow.

I think a woman Doctor might upset the purists too much.

Is it bad dh and I have just done the quickest bedtime ever with 10 month old ds, so we can both watch this?
