I will watch it on 4od when it comes on, though. It's the sort of thing that bears a second viewing imo. I like all the spooky set details, gruesome posters and worrying implements scattered around with abandonment! I need a second view to pick up all that.

Serge is Underpass Belly Scoffer. He is a revenant whose brother (bloke who runs the bar) killed him years ago after his first lot of belly-scoffing and tried to kill him again when he revenanted by bashing him on head with spade/shovel (we are undecided which).

Ok how do know his brother killed him? I'm wondering if his death might have something to do with the road. So far of the confirmed returned, Camille died in a bus crash and Simon was run over by a car.
It could be that they all died at the same place at different times which would explain why Victor appeared on the road before the bus crashed.

And rewatching the scene where Lucy got stabbed, isn't it bizarre that she fought her assailant off but then seemed to stop and almost embrace him before he stabbed her?

I'm still puzzled at the lack of curiosity the graves. Don't they want to see if there are bodies in there?

I can't quite remember I think it was when Simon and Pierre had a talk in the shelter place.
Pierre talked about how everyone knew about Adele's fiance being run over by a car on the day of his wedding.
