Hello, bonjour! Just joining this thread as I've watched all three episodes end-to-end and am slightly obsessed! I've read the plot summary on Wikipedia so shan't join in the speculation yet

Serge was original UBS. We haven't seen the face of current UBS. I think it's Julie - she has turned from victim to attacker, as some sort of revenge.

It was JULIE who ate Mlle Trop-des-chats. Victor is trying to cover up for her. Then she has a vision of herself, a reflection, are twins reflective images

But isn't there rather too much of Mr Costa in the dam to support the homeopathic theory?

My "conceptual" thought was that dams are created through the destruction of old lifestyles - there's always some flooded village at the bottom, isn't there? So, for the purposes of this story, the malignantly homeopathic water () wishes to re-start all old lives, including those the living have chosen to suppress ...

Ohhh have we not seen Serge as the current attacker then? Has he always had his hood up?

How many episodes and how many series are there do we know? My track record ie Lost was not good beyond the first series

We sometimes go on holiday to Lake Vyrnwy, which was a village in Wales evacuated and then flooded to create a water supply for Liverpool. They have photos of the old village, it's really weird to think it's still there underneath the water.

We've seen enough glimpses of the UBS to know it's Serge, I think. I went on Wikipedia to find out if it is him, or someone else who looks similar (facial recognition not being my strongest point).

What is needed is an anti-woo campaigner, such as the French equivalent of Ben Goldacre, to dump a massive load of garlic (sovereign repellent of all things woo and/or evil) into the dam. This would counteract the evil homeopathicness AND raise the water level. Sorted.

Are the first two episodes also on Youtube with subtitles? Laptop screen cracked so can't really watch anything on it, but can get Youtube through the Wii and watch on TV if so...

I am crap at a) theorising and b) facial recognition but am still keeping up with it ...
