It's a bit soon for me to have an opinion yet, but it looks interesting enough that I'm recording it to watch later with DH...

It is rather more than that....

You could survive multiple stabwounds to the abdomen if no major bloodvessels were hit and you survived the following peritonitis. It IS possible, and I concede the the scars on Julie's abdomen are obviously linked to having been attacked rather than self-harm (my previous half-baked theory).

Not everybody who has died is comging back though, are they? Lots of other students/teachers on the bus Camille 'died' on, Serge's mother, the serial killer's previous victims - still dead.

But he tried to eat her liver!

Surely there must be some major veins around there?

Thats the whole problem with this programme, the blink and you miss it thing.

I spent at least 20 minutes muttering crossly what ARE you talking about, the woman who sees Simon while eating chips, are you all MAD.. then I watched it again and saw her and it was well spooky.

I think I will have to resign myself to simply watching each episode twice as I am now unable to watch tv without doing something else and you can't afford to miss some things.

Yes, if a major blood vessel or liver or spleen gets ruptured, you're a goner but all her scars where lower down I think.
Also you cannot tell by the scar how deepa stabwound might have been.

Spero, damn you, now I have to go and watch the trailer. Again.
This is certainly not a program I can watch and mn do anything else at the same time.

I might watch both episodes again while DS is at school tomorrow. Sod being productive

I haven't seem it yet.

The stabbing was (quite unnecessarily horribly I think) shown to be him plunging the knife in up to the hilt several times. So I assume it is possible he missed major veins, but unlikely?

Anyway, I like the theory that she did die and has 'returned' ! We shall soon see by how angry/hungry she is when she wakes up.

I frequently put on an episode of Modern Family etc and then find I have to rewind as have not listened to a sodding thing due to a particularly interesting game of Words with Friends etc. etc. I do worry that the structure of my brain is irretrivably damaged.

im keeping all episodes till the end, so can rewatch and check details if needed

I think she is a previous returnee - so when she was stabbed in the underpass, she couldn't die, rather than that she died but immediately came back.

Oh, I am totally doomed to re brain damage . I had the discipline however, to close the laptop and Put It Down while watching Sunday's episode

Even DH suggested last night to rewatch ep1 - that is unheard of!

I do put the ipad down! But then before I know what is happening I am playing Candy Crush and I have missed some significant and lingering glances that may explain all...

I think I will have to go back to my Bridge strategy and actually WATCH it on the ipad then I can't slip.

Otoh, I spotted a clip where Julie obviously recognises a man in a hoodie -probably Serge le tueur en serie, especially as there's another clip where he's lurking behind her in her building.

They seem to have differing levels of understanding about their circumstances, the revenants, don't they? (Sorry, really not being pretentious, I just like the word revenant!). For example, Camille seems totally naive but Victor is creepily aware. So, conceivably there are actually more around who are hiding as they know what their appearance will represent to their families?

She is looking in the mirror...

This is weird, just googled trailer and watched again, there must be different trailers as I don't remember this one - I hadn't noticed that Julie seems to recognise the killer in the hoodie, which would fit with theory she was his victim.

Ok, I still don't see it. I've seen Lena inspecting her back with a wound/scar in it in the mirror, but not Camille in a mirror.

Am I blind?

Ok I must be officially going mad. Watched trailer 3 times on three different sites and can't see what I clearly remember seeing when camille looks in the mirror.

Maybe I dreamed it? But what did Robotelephant see???

But it took 3 watches to spot killer lurking in Julie's building, so she must definitely have been a previous victim.

The trailer I just watched has Lena shouting at Camille 'Tell them who you are'.....I return to my theory of them swapping identities :) (I know, hopelessly wrong....)
