For any newcomers , explanations as follows:

TBFE: The Bloke From Emmerdale (Ian Kelsey who plays Howard)

SDTP: Saddo Doctors Thread Partakers (which we all think know we are but we love it anyway).

Waterfall cardi: Apparently these are a MN no-no but it's a wardrobe essential to a SDTP.

Gobbyplods: Karen and Rob Hollins, aka 'the only plod in the village'

Beanbags: are now being Freecycled and will be passed on to other lentil weavers.

But Ood there is just not enough money in the Nescafe jar for re-doing the credits every time we lose a regular.

Old Thin Lips would be high on my hit list, to be fair. Karen could do so much better.

I think in my killing spree most of them would get it aside from Heston & Mrs T 'there has been a terrrrible occurrrrance'

I dislike Mandy very much. She always has her judgy pants hoiked up so far I am surprised she can breathe.

SDTP that I am, I am already thinking of the next thread title as we are likely to fill this thread pretty soon. I want to keep it simple. Something like 'Doctors Addicts Anonymous - please take a seat in the waiting room'.

And then an explanation of the nicknames we use, SDTP, TBFE, etc. Whaddya think?

I saw the last few minutes of Friday's - I didn't understand how Jimmi realised what had happened between Chaniel just from seeing them arguing from outside the window....or was there more of a build up that I missed?

Hi Mildred. It was a bit wtf to be honest. Jimmi knew they had been bickering but that's about it. There was no real build up as such.

Jimmi twigged, because in the 'wtf plot of the day' it was the nature of the arguing between the dad and aunt, that made the son realise they'd slept together. So when Jimmi saw Chaniel bickering, he guessed what was going on. Totally implausible, and there must have been a less convoluted way to end the torment get to the point...

I like the idea of Jimmi going on a killing spree. Gobbyplod has not had much to do of late, and I'm sure he works on a 'paid per crim' basis, so prob needs the money apart from the stash of cash from selling their old house.
