For any newcomers , explanations as follows:

TBFE: The Bloke From Emmerdale (Ian Kelsey who plays Howard)

SDTP: Saddo Doctors Thread Partakers (which we all think know we are but we love it anyway).

Waterfall cardi: Apparently these are a MN no-no but it's a wardrobe essential to a SDTP.

Gobbyplods: Karen and Rob Hollins, aka 'the only plod in the village'

Beanbags: are now being Freecycled and will be passed on to other lentil weavers.

Not sure on both those questions tbh. Cherry and the druggie seems like ages ago - a couple of years??

2plus2 Doctors is meant to make you confused. That is the joy of it. But I don't know what the answer is with the new doctor. I quite like her though.

I used to watch it before the old practice got blown up, and when Mac and his 2nd wife were in it, before he got back with his first wife (Juuuliaaaa). I do remember Faith. I didn't watch it religiously like I do now regularly then, though.

I used to love watching ANTM, it was a real guilty pleasure thing that I watched when Dh was out, and always turned it over quickly in case he caught meAnd I think the last British one I saw was the one where Rachel was on it- who played Emily on 'Doctors'- see, everything is connected

don't care so much about hiding my crap tv habits these days. And I no longer get the right channels to watch ANTM, or the British one I used to love the Australian version- they were super-bitchy on that.

My dh used to come in from work when I was pregnant and screech 'tyra mail' at me because he knew I'd be watching antm.

Hi Sparkling. I was just settling down to eat lunch (after ditching doing the skirting boards) and found I've turned the wrong oven on. So I've got one piping hot empty oven and one freezing cold one with my lunch in it.
