For any newcomers , explanations as follows:

TBFE: The Bloke From Emmerdale (Ian Kelsey who plays Howard)

SDTP: Saddo Doctors Thread Partakers (which we all think know we are but we love it anyway).

Waterfall cardi: Apparently these are a MN no-no but it's a wardrobe essential to a SDTP.

Gobbyplods: Karen and Rob Hollins, aka 'the only plod in the village'

Beanbags: are now being Freecycled and will be passed on to other lentil weavers.

Biscuit- Cherry's massive hair in the 'dream sequence' looked like she'd had an electric shock

cherry used to be so happy & bubbly-a complete personality change. Perhaps a tragic accident would sort her out Biscuit ! I wondered about 6tl's husband too.

You know on other soaps when the writers say the character ran it's course, and they didn't have anything left for them storywise? That doesn't seem to bother them on Doctors does it?

Think they must work the opposite. Most of theirs have run their course

No, Sparkling, and even if they do write them out, they will probably re-appear in the near future several time, as different characters. Because no-one will notice

I think Mandy is a prime example, I think Cherry could go off for a year long sabbatical or something.

There isn't a lot left for Daniel at the moment either. Or Heston.

Jas would have been a good victim for Harrison. Why did he have to die so soon when there are so many characters worthy of being done in? Will nobody think of the viewers??

Is it just me or are the nurses always really irritating? Remember that awful one before annoying Brummie Michelle. What was she called? Faith! That's it. ugh. Why do noone of the nurses have any gumption?

I don't remember Faith but I remember Brummie Michelle. She was irritating beyond belief. I kind of liked it when Ruth stalked her though

I doubt I'd even be entitled to a bronze. I have watched Doctors for 8 years but I seem to have lost the first 3 somehow I blame the children
