Are you watching?

I knew that scumbag caretaker did it when I saw him being interviewed.

Those poor girls.

I should imagine I'll be in tears very soon.

CointreauVersial · 03/08/2012 21:10

I've recorded to watch later, as DH said he couldn't watch something like that (DDs are 11 and nearly-9).

GhouliaYelps · 03/08/2012 21:10

Horrific :(

SoleSource · 03/08/2012 21:16

Chilling.

I remember that scumbag being interviewed on Sky news whilst I was watching in the gym. I turned ti the cimplete stranger next to me and told her he was the murderer. It was obvious to me.

Awful, I'm not watching, as it's too close to home. Hoping DD isn't watching it either.

Tangointhenight · 03/08/2012 21:31

You just don't know until you have a child of your own, I ant imagine how anyone can come to terms with the death of their child but especially at the hands of a sick fuck like him.

SoleSource · 03/08/2012 21:33

The other Mother was pregnant too.

OP posts:
SoleSource · 03/08/2012 21:38

Very very true Tango.

I had firgotten about hid previous convictions until now. I recall feeling total outrage and sadness. Especially as a Mother of an SN child whom will be totally dependent for his personal cares.

SoleSource · 03/08/2012 21:43

Has made me cry i winder where jess' parents are. Not appreciative of the medium but in awe of her parents

And very angry for them too

SoleSource · 03/08/2012 21:51

I recall Jess parents didn't agree with certain aspects of media attention at some stage.

Is it me or have there been no ad breaks

OP posts:
MonsPubis · 03/08/2012 21:54

the tears have flowed from me throughout the programme. I remember it all so graphically as if it was yesterday. I was glued to the television for the entire 2 weeks they were missing. so very sad.

TheDreadedFoosa · 03/08/2012 21:54

I've broke my own ban on ITV to watch this but wish i hadnt.
Its just mawkish, isnt it? Feel like a grubby rubber-necker but though it may have been more insightful.
Its not the parents fault, just poorly executed by the makers.
And giving the 'Medium' exposure? Yuk.

BBwolefs · 03/08/2012 21:54

I think its so respectful that there have been no adverts. If thats the case I can see the chapmans point in some Respects.

I think that type of tragedy would ruin me. Absolutely.
I have been bereaved (mum at ten dad at 17) but i cant imagine the loss when your baby is killed by some vile cuntrag. Makes me terrified and enraged.

Lucius · 03/08/2012 22:02

I'm sorry, I'm not a mum or a woman but I was watching this programme and it really upset me. The girls would be my age now. It has really annoys me, that the disgusting medium got air time. It makes a complete mockery of the show. Sure, he's not saying bad things but he just makes it up. Gaining from this tragedy is evil.
Also, Ian Huntly should be put to hard labour instead of living in his luxury cell.

Tangointhenight · 03/08/2012 22:03

Agree about the medium he made my skin crawl, taking advantage of someone's tragedy like that.

So scary to think that sickos can look completely normal, makes you want to lock your kids away but you just can't :(
