It is a bit late. THe other shows have been family viewing. No problem here as DD is 16, but she'd have been pretty pissed off a few years ago.

They have even moved the News to 10.30 Raahh.

They clearly aren't that fussed about audiences or ratings, are they? It's really odd. It isn't one of the more family friendly musicals, or to me, as well known a 'Oliver' or 'The Sound of Music' but the format of these shows usually is. It will be as much a disaster as 'The Voice' was for the Beeb- the winner failed to chart, and the tour has been cancelled.

They are obviously hoping people will buy tickets for the show, on the basis they know it already. Rather than introducing it to new audiences, which I think the beeb shows did quite well.

I can see why they thought an every night production would be good - recreating the rigours of stage life and all. But blimey, have some pity on us watching.
