God it was fab, it was like seeing old friends again.

The step dad gives me the proper creeps, he actually makes my skin crawl - took me ages to get that rape scene out of my head when I saw it, I honestly think that was the best acting I have ever seen on telly however disturbing it was.

wow @creepy dead dad i shuddered , poor lol I actually feel for her its weird as its only a tv programme spose that makes it a good programme if you are connected with the characters , The rape in 86 affected me for days it was brutal ! so glad to see it back i love it ,

Totally agree, with the love for This Is England! I don't think there's a bad performance in there. It's such a brilliant mixture - with the serious stories but the lighter sides which are so funny.

The rape story was so shocking, but brave of them to do. Must have been so hard to do. It stayed with me for ages too it was so harsh...

I think it's telling that there's so much rubbish on TV that when something this good comes along it really sticks in your mind and gets under your skin.

Wonder what's going to happen? I want Woody and Lol to get back together so much!
