apparently there is a weird gimp suit in the attic , something unspeakable in the basement, and unwanted guests both dead and alive

Bloody Hell! Just watched it. That is some scary shit man! There was dead everything in there, dead babies, masturbation, sharp scary teeth thingy etc ... Not sure if it made any sense though!

Finally caught up with this - woah ! The basement scene was like an adults version on the chicken/boat scene from original Charlie and choc factory .

Watching 2nd episode missed most of the first one, whats with all the different flashbacks

i like them though.

I wonder if with each episode it goes further back in time.

I think based on the 2nd episode this could be interesting, I thought after watching the first that it might be a bit limited in scope but no longer think that. We watched the first 2 episodes of Grimm this week too and American Horror is excellent compared to it.

I found poor Addy being locked in the mirrored cupboard a bit upsetting though, although Jessica Lange is an awesomely horrible character.

Just watched episode 2 - definitely leaves you wanting more .

Just had a look and episode 2 is repeated on FX (124) on Friday at 11pm and Sunday at 11pm, and you could probably watch some clips of episode 1 on youtube. It's mental and should contain the warning 'This programme contains scenes of wanking and sobbing. Simultaneously.'
