Thought would start a thread for us lovers of walking dead and other zombie/horrors :)

about a family who relocate to LA to escape their troubled past and find their-selves in a haunted house

apparently there is a weird gimp suit in the attic , something unspeakable in the basement, and unwanted guests both dead and alive

Yeah, seems like they were just 'murder groupies' and saw the house on a murder tour.

I am not sure who is alive and who is dead in this are you? I am not sure if Tate is possessed by the house or if he is house ghost messing with the family?

Not sure what I think of it tbh will watch episode two and reserve judgement until then, not really warming to any characters at mo and thought husband wanking in front of window was a bit urgggh!!!

Haven't seen the 2nd episode yet but loved the first. It's exactly the kind of OTT creepy stuff I like. And the opening credits are fabulous! Those Victorian pictures of dead children are so macabre.
I loved Jessica Lange's character but am getting a bit confused with rushed timeline. It would be good to get a better idea of how long they've lived in the house. I'm also thinking that the gimp guy who shagged the wife was actually the husband's mental patient. And yes, Dylan McDermott is ageing rather well!

Yeah, I'm not sure if he's a real person possessed by the house or a house ghost. I fancy him either way.

I've been watching this and have to say it's fab. I love the fact that the maid looks like a young woman to the father but an older lady to everyone else. I really, really want to know what Jessica Lange's character knows/has to do with the house - and why she laced Violet's cupcakes with that drug.

The part where the three masked people called at the door and broke in reminded me of that film The Strangers, which scared the shit out of me when I watched it.

Can't believe some of you fancy Tate - he's about 15 but I'll have a closer look at him next week to see what all the fuss is about. Dylan McDermott is hot though - I love that he has so far spent at least one scene in each episode topless/naked/playing with himself .

Is Tate the young guy with the issues being counselled by the dad?
It seems like he's a ghost and he's the son of the crazy woman next door. Did anyone else think that?

That was me saying I fancied Tate But I have just looked it up and the actor is 24 so that is fine and in no way creepy

Think I'm an episode or two ahead now as someone downloaded a few for me but I think it's getting better each episode now.

This show is awesome-just the right amount of gore and psychological thrill. I didn't expect to be that amused by itsome friends in the States who have seen it think it's crap-but I was proper spooked by the end of even the first episode. The second one was great, as well.

Can't wait for this week's! I just need to remember to watch it when I know DH will be home. Otherwise I'm a mess. But I can't look away!

Do you think they're all dead? Even the home owners?

i was watching thru my fingers,bloody scary,cant get the picture of the cellar creature out of my head. very interesting at the end with jessica and Tait are all in it together it seems. riviting!

Just watching episode 2 i missed episode 1 can anyone just briefly summarise?Loving it tho.

i dont think they are all dead - but did wonder about the son if he was a ghost - like six sense

i reckon Tate is the neighbours son....she said she had a son who was like an angel but was taken by "another affliction".....i think he is dead and comes with the house....i think he was a psychopath. (isnt he always fantasising about killing people? and he turns up at all hours - defo a ghost!)

its the sort of programme that you should just watch and try not to anayase any part of it

The 1st episode showed them moving house and then showing that the dad sees the hk as a young lady and old to all others

Also dad wanking over hk

An then the bully at school who is bullying the daughter - the ghost/ young man takes to the cellar and that's where you see the ghost /demons come out and terrorise the bully and she runs out screaming

Tbh that scene freaked me a bit as alone in my house and I did peer over my shoulder

I'm getting hooked on this show. Recorded last nights and hope to watch it tonight. Need DH to watch it with me.

I thought it was sad last week with the housekeeper. I think the ghosts get trapped in the house. Did we get old how the old owner (from the 20s?) died? I also think Tate is the next door neighbours son and is dead. Not sure if the main family are dead or not.

I cried at the episode that showed Moira (maid) and her mum. Poor girl, all sad and alone and frightened, trapped in that awful place I cried for a full half an hour but I am pregnant so that may have contributed.

I've watched all of them now and I am completely hooked. Series 2 has already been commissioned and I cannot wait.

Now I have to find something to watch to get me through to January when new Spartacus starts, it's too far away
