Thought would start a thread for us lovers of walking dead and other zombie/horrors :)

about a family who relocate to LA to escape their troubled past and find their-selves in a haunted house

apparently there is a weird gimp suit in the attic Grin, something unspeakable in the basement, and unwanted guests both dead and alive

Yeah, 8 was last. Disappointingly short 1st series. Is it up to 8 on FX yet? Because DH said something about what he thinks about an aspect of the show (being as deliberately vague as I can in case it hasnt finished on FX yet) and I need to see if anyone else thinks the same!

It was episode 4 last night on fx. According to the sky info there are 13 episodes. Has it only recently aired in America cos it may just be it's mid season break?

I thought Tate was dead too but he was outside yesterday? I'm confused.

I feel so sorry for the maid. She seems so sad. She had a horrible thing happen to her. Why are all those people trapped in the house? They're all innocent.

The dead mistress was horrible when she knocked on the door.

I'm really enjoying this show!

Tate (and the others) were able to go "outside" and interact with the rest of the world because it was Halloween. Otherwise I think they're all tied to the house.

Have to say that I'm surprised that Addie wasn't already a ghost before the accident.

Dying to know what was seen on Viv's ultrasound.

This show keeps sucking me in! I know I shouldn't watch it b/c it makes me restless and uneasy the night after watching an episode, but I cannot resist. Way too addictive!

Ok, I don't have FX so I watch it online. I've watched up to episode 8 which is called 'Rubber Man'.

I am also confused by some parts of the show but each episode seems to reveal more and more of history within the house.

Addie won't be returning as a ghost as far as I know. Don't worry, I won't spoil anything, it does get more interesting though :)

I think the show can get confusing because so much seems to happen and there are loads of characters.

I absolutely hate the title sequence though. That awful music (if it can be called that) and all those images. It's very good but creeps the pants off me!

Just scared myself silly

Don't think watching Amercian horror story is a good idea when alone in a creaking house that has a ghost - with the wind howling in the middle of nowhere with only the wimpy woofa as company is good

Almost shat my self with the bloke in the gimp mask appeared .......:

I wonder what the nurse saw ........

Can't wait for next weeks :)

Just won't watch at 1am alone lol

There was a bit of lace as a clue but was it from Moira's collar or the hanky the doctor's wife kept carrying about?

I thought it was the doctor's wife at first but now I think it's Moira.

We're downloading it and have seen upto episode 9. Things get much, much clearer with time.

I found the episode about the baby who died very upsetting and couldn't actually watch. Even though Nora (the wife of the doctor) is clearly not a nice person I felt very, very sorry for her.

Hate Ben's bit on the side though- she really doesn't get any more likeable imo. Hate Ben too- he is a most incredibly selfish fuckwit. Oddly enough I think Constance is brilliant- a total psycho but brilliant all the same.

I just hope this doesn't follow in the footsteps of Lost which "lost" me from about season 2 or 3.
A bit of an emmbarresing story ; I watched the first episode at my mam's house as I'd forgot to put it on to record, my dad was in the room on the laptop so not watching but could hear everything I was mortified when viv started ranting about her hubby pile driving a 21yo's pussy Shock and then when he was having a wank my dad said something along the lines for him sounding like that when he is constipated but since he wasn't watching he had no idea of what was happening on screen. I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me pmsl.
