Thought would start a thread for us lovers of walking dead and other zombie/horrors :)

about a family who relocate to LA to escape their troubled past and find their-selves in a haunted house

apparently there is a weird gimp suit in the attic Grin, something unspeakable in the basement, and unwanted guests both dead and alive

Have I missed an episode?

The last one I saw was episode 7 last Monday where the young Moira tries to persuade the property developer to buy the house, hoping he will dig up the gazebo and set her free.

It's on series link but didn't record last night. It is set up for next Monday though. Are they just having a break for Christmas or do I need to search?

limitedperiodonly - no you've not missed one - that was the last one aired, but I think for this week they have gone back to the beginning and are showing them from the start. The next episode is on the 2nd - Rubber Man. It's meant to be a good one Smile.

Why do the lost souls stay there - as in why don't they escape /leave the house

Or do they need to be released?

I dont understand whether the ghosts can hurt them or not,cos if not why didnt they just drive off when the ghosts popped up in the car?
I love it tho.I started watchinmg it with dh but hes lost so its my guilty 6 am up with the baby pleasure Grin

I don't think Vivien knew that the ones in the car were ghosts - they never found the intruders so she doesn't know they were killed.

Also, seeing as the ghosts can have sex with the living, I'm pretty sure they can hurt them too.

I'm off to look on Wikia Grin

Do you think Tate is protecting Violet? He keeps telling her the ghosts can't hurt her or that she can just tell them to go away and they do.

But they hurt other people.

Also, how many ghosts is Violet aware of? Is it just Tate and the home invaders?

I have a question for those who have seen all episodes - do all the pieces come together at the end, or are you left hanging on for the second series? If someone could answer without spoiling it would be much appreciated Smile

All I will say is the writers have said that the second series will be a different location, different story, different actors, and yes it does come together with a twist :)

I am not happy with the recent reveal of Rubber Man's identity. Way too anticlimactic. Also takes away a bit of the suspense element of the show---my mind conjured up much worse images of what could have been inside the suit vs what actually was.

I'm thinking either Tate is luring Violet into a sense of false security inside that house, or there's some evil Tate twin thing going on.

I believe Tate has a good heart, but I think he is possessed by something.

Out of Tate and Adelaide - who is the eldest? I know Tate looks young but he died in 1993 so is he older than Adelaide?

Do you think they have the same father, and do you think the fourth child of Constance's will come into it somehow?

I'm really keen to find out Larry's involvement in it all, and why he needed $1000?

I've been re-watching all the old episodes for clues!

I think Adelaide was about 37 when she died in 2010 which would have put her birth year at 1973.

Tate was about 17 when he died in 1993 so he'd have been born in 1976.

I think.

Why do you think Adelaide was 37 - did they mention her age at all?

I can't remember how I worked that out but it's stuck fast in my head.

Don't think her age was ever specified but I think the time of her birth was mentioned, maybe by Constance in the early conversation with Vivian about Adelaide's birth ending her film career. Or maybe it was much later than that when Constance showed the photo of Tate and Adelaide as children to Violet when she explained that Tate was a ghost.

I'd say its around that age - based on the opening scene which was set in 1978 when she told the twins not to go in the house.
