I've decided to watch West Wing again from the beginning. Anyone care to join me?

I watched a random episode at the weekend and gosh darn it I had forgotten just how much I love this show!

Starting tonight I'm going to start rewatching the whole thing from the very beginning. Anyone want to join me, or just generally share the West Wing love?

Ooh ooh you naughty lot - just tempted me enough to buy the full 1-7 box set for £43 on ebay :) :) Never seen any of them!

Just seen the episode when Leo's personnel file is leaked - the actress who leaks it is Paris in the Gilmore Girls

For me all of the actors are defined by their West Wing roles: if I see them in anything else they are referred to as "so and so from West Wing".

There are only 2 exceptions - Secretary of Agriculture from Season 1 is the Mayor from Buffy and one of the frat boys that hassles Zoe in the bar, also season 1, is Jesse from Buffy [Buffy geek]

3 episodes of WW on Weds night: the last 2 of series one and after the cliffhanger we just had to launch straight into series 2.

Oh oh oh!! I started watching WW for the first time about a month ago after series one was for sale in tesco for £6 or so.... within a week I had ordered the box set off amazon! Am near the end of series 2. As I'm nearly 7m pg and living on my own, it's what I reach for at 3 in the morning when I can't sleep. It will forever remind me of lying like a beach whale!

I love it because I have to watch it properly. I cannot do anything else when it's on but watch it, otherwise I miss what on earth is going on. Clever stuff!

I have 3 eps left in season 3.

Half way through season 5, we only watched one episode last night as dh was tired....bloody lightweight.

What did you think Pfft? IMHO the first couple of episodes were good but a little bit cheesy, but it settles down and becomes just so darn fantastic!

It was a little cheesy - particularly with the rousing music at appropriate times.

But I did really like it. I enjoyed the Rob Lowe character particularly, but they were all engaging. I did find that the whole episode lifted once POTUS came onto the screen, suspect that it is supposed to be like that.

Very good. Just another 150 to get through You wouldn't think it would be that much of a challenge - this is what I do, devour box sets. 15 series of ER didn't phase me - I will win!

The thing I love the most about West Wing is that the viewer is expected to know what the heck they are all talking about! Apart from the odd occasion where Donna asks Josh to explain something there are no explanations. It would have been so easy to start the show from Bartlet's inauguration, but instead they throw us in a year down the line and we're expected to get on with it!
