definitely should show 3rd stage at least one time. I've heard tale of a dad who thought the umbilical cord retracted like a tape measure after the cord was cut! also of dad thinking their wife was dying because they thought the placenta was their wife's insides coming out.

I don't think it was so much they lied to me as that they gave me two days to try and get labour started (walking and walking and walking!) and then brought me in and induced me after 48 hrs.

I don't think I would have had it any other way tbh.

But I think if they were at home, walking about, in a relaxed environment they would have more chance of going into labour than being imprisoned in a strange place.

I was one of them, DD2 was induced 6 days after my waters went.

Kacey is doing fine now. Gorgeous baby!
