Geepers · 21/02/2011 21:05

I soooo hope my DD wants me to be with her when she has her babies.

Hermya321 · 21/02/2011 21:05

Evening!!! How can you be a young persons midwife?

LauraSmurf · 21/02/2011 21:05

Oh dear, she's going to struggle, "it's only early doors!"

Alambil · 21/02/2011 21:05

that dad is doing my head in already!

sheeplikessleep · 21/02/2011 21:06

me too crikey

houseworkwhore · 21/02/2011 21:06

I love this programme, its looking to be a good one!

msrisotto · 21/02/2011 21:06

God I think my mum would be a bloody nightmare to be my birthing partner.

darleneconnor · 21/02/2011 21:06

I'm surprised they dont just send her home.

ng1412 · 21/02/2011 21:06

do i get an old woman's midwife then?

darleneconnor · 21/02/2011 21:07

Oops, spoke too soon.

LauraSmurf · 21/02/2011 21:07

Don't call we need to sleep!!

Love it!

noeyedear · 21/02/2011 21:07

My one dread when I had DS was that my mum would ask to be my birth partner!

Hermya321 · 21/02/2011 21:07

I wouldn't want my Mother anywhere near me in labour.

MrsVidic · 21/02/2011 21:07

I dont like the Mw how condescending!

Alambil · 21/02/2011 21:07

lol ng! I bet there probably are midwives that specialise in "older" mums

sheeplikessleep · 21/02/2011 21:08

she's tiny

msrisotto · 21/02/2011 21:09

Oh I love that midwife and the scottish one.

fedupofnamechanging · 21/02/2011 21:09

That MW in the blue top seems very dismissive. She would get right on my tits

NotAnotherNewNappy · 21/02/2011 21:09

My mum can't even watch actors pretending to give birth, OBEM would be her worst nightmare... apart from me asking her to be there for me Grin

sheeplikessleep · 21/02/2011 21:09

had my mum at both ds's births, she was magnificent.

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/02/2011 21:09

Oh no, poor girl, she is already in so much pain and hardly dilated at all. I can't believe her DP told her to chill out Shock

Am settled down with peppermint Brew - yum.

threecurrantbuns · 21/02/2011 21:09

Had my mum with dd1...but drove me mad as i couldnt bare anyone in my area lol and she couldnt resist stroking my back, dont think she could bare seeing me in the pain.

I agree with another post thought i would love to witness the birth of my grandbabies

twirlymum · 21/02/2011 21:09

Eh? Nail varnish stops you having an epidural????

BellaMagnificat · 21/02/2011 21:09

Ahh these two look more like it...

LauraSmurf · 21/02/2011 21:09

Excellent husbanding love it!
