Promising start to the series last night - just as The Guardian promised, Prime Suspect meets State of Play with a bit of Wallander (i.e. Scandinavian and with subtitles). Really moving scene where the couple whose daughter's body had been found then tried to explain it to their younger children.

Anyone else see it?

Hello everyone! Thread has moved on another few pages since i last logged in!!

Absolutely ROFL at atswim "Thought that was the death" Grin

fascinating comment about Madam Mim and that would totally make sense as she was growing up and away from her family and keeping secrets..

...they're a bit obsessed with Donald Duck aren't they?! There was a comment in last week's episode too that wasn't about her or her costume.

Not long now!

I too am in a Northern market town trickquestion so I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for the Troels lookeylikey. Ahem, very peeled...

Sorry folks, we've just had our tea and it was chicken and chips. (I am such a great cook , esp Sat nights)

I shall have to stay off the thread now, as we all have to watch "Take me Out" on ITV so that DD can have whatever the equivalent is of a water cooler moment with the other church choir members tomorrow morning......

....i could be found downstairs catching up at stupid o'clock in the morning, with an emergency midnight feat saucepan....

aloiseb · 12/03/2011 20:14

midnight feast!!!

spelling is now resembling Molesworth's.

Fivecentsplease · 12/03/2011 20:14

Ready here too: Ds 3 sparko, Ds 2 + 1 pyjama'd and under orders not to speak till 11pm.

cornerstone75 · 12/03/2011 20:28

Ready here, both DCs knock out after day at the seaside, where we had fish & chips for tea so not sure what we could call that.... the Thies and Pernille seaside weekend option???

Aloise I may also be catching up in the morning if I can't convince DH to flick through BBC sport on his iphone for 2 hours watch it with me..

Habbibu · 12/03/2011 20:30

Am here, but IL's are here, and I'm not sure how rude it'd be to watch 2 hours of TV right now which they have not been following...

Fivecentsplease · 12/03/2011 20:42

No more rude habbibu than doing mumsnet while they are with you!Grin

teej · 12/03/2011 20:47

evening everyone! oh 15 mins to go...!
fivecents you missed one off the menu - the bengt civilised three course meal with wine in a nice restaurant - on your own.
unfortunately had DP and DCs to feed so we went for a troels this evening (oh yes....)

KnitterNotTwitter · 12/03/2011 20:49

Hey just popping in to say thanks to whoever it was that told me Episode 1 was on iTunes... This afternoon I have watched it and am thinking it was a very good £1.89....

That said nothing notable came out at me. The new shoes thing I think is a red herring. He was going on about how they've got super comfy midsoles or something which sounds like a bit too nerdy/considered for emergency shoe shopping....

CAn't watch tonights episodes until they are on iPlayer (No TV!) so I won't be reading this from 9 tonight....

I think that Bengt is in it tonight as he's teaching a class or something.... Didn't she leave a message on his VM to that effect?

Habbibu · 12/03/2011 20:50

Yes, you do have a point there, Five...

teej · 12/03/2011 20:54

Grin at atswim traversing the UK for troels-a-likes....
with wigwam staking bengt-a-likes...
here's hoping for some troels and/or bengt action this evening Wink

What is going on? I am getting totally confused. Have we seen the shifty looking removal man before? Did he attack her at the flat then take her to the forest? Why/how would he be wanting to frame troels?

wigwam1973 · 12/03/2011 23:13

Blimey! Can't take it all in.
Can't believe it. DH said it was Vagn after watching the second episode. He will gloat like mad if he's right. Sad

wigwam1973 · 12/03/2011 23:16

But Fivecents, you're right. Leon horribly shifty. Wonder if he was somehow involved with drug dealer than Vagn/Theis beat up.

God, Troels was quick to stick the knife in Morten, wasn't he? 'You're my campaign manager, not my advisor'.
