Promising start to the series last night - just as The Guardian promised, Prime Suspect meets State of Play with a bit of Wallander (i.e. Scandinavian and with subtitles). Really moving scene where the couple whose daughter's body had been found then tried to explain it to their younger children.

Anyone else see it?

didn't someone comment on his new shoes in eppy 1 or 2?

Fivecentsplease · 11/03/2011 22:07

Exactly my line to him, teej - but he's only five and said skool told him to do Cbeebies.

Fivecentsplease · 11/03/2011 22:08

Joking.....

Blackduck · 11/03/2011 22:28

I go out for a curry and the thread moves on three pages and several theories....!! I am NOT eating my dinner out of a pan tomorrow night -sorry -
yes Brix gave them hell for annoying townhall originally and is now going trying to pin it on Troels - so yes, a change of direction...
Wasn't the boke found somewhere - can't recall where....

teej · 11/03/2011 22:32

fivecents Grin on the plus side he'll seem v advanced when writing critical dissertations on the comparative strengths of scandi crime series 2000-2011

Blackduck · 11/03/2011 22:36

shoes...isn't the comment made that Troels has loads of pairs of the same shoes.....??
If we carry on we could drive ourselves mad! And I bet we have come up with more possible scenarios than the original writers!!

Fivecentsplease · 11/03/2011 22:40

Put that boke up on the incident board, someone.

If it has pizza and red wine in, then it's definitely Troels.

Going to hide now, incase social workers can trace me through my posts. [paranoid look over shoulder]

Blackduck · 11/03/2011 22:44

I meant BIKE!! and the board is too full anyway....

Habbibu · 11/03/2011 23:53

We are going to need a new thread, aren't we? Preferably not bang in the middle of tomorrow night's shenanigans....

aloiseb · 12/03/2011 00:36

I think the wreath sent to Pernille when poor Nanna's ashes were being buried Sad was very suspicious.

It couldn't have been Theis or Vagn surely, they wouldn't have chosen anything so elaborate? particularly with the family firm's money worries.

SOMEBODY is watching the whole thing going on and laughing behind his hand, like the Hooded Claw. I'm not sure it isn't that Bengt - maybe the polar-pine saunas were just a front for what he was really doing that weekend....

Teej, LOL at idea of Wallander and Morse arguing over music - surely they would just toodle on down to the nearest gaff showing Wagner? (forgetting all those lovely women who always turn out to be bad 'uns)

Prolesworth, have you read "How to stay topp"? (And the books it's based on, which are utterly fantastic as any fule kno.)

Fivecentsplease · 12/03/2011 07:29

habbibu excuse my ignorance - but do threads get too full or something, and need replacing? How does this work?

Blackduck · 12/03/2011 07:34

a thread will only take a 1000 posts and then you can't add to it, so you need a new one.....we are currently on 800+ so depends how franetic it gets over the next 24 hours :)

Fivecentsplease · 12/03/2011 08:16

Probably quite frenetic, then!.......with a 2 hour period of silence.

wigwam1973 · 12/03/2011 08:52

I'm sorry, Aloiseb, but I refuse to believe that it's Bengt. I'm hoping he might appear in tonight's episodes and point Lund in the right direction, once she's actually looked at those files, of course.

bettys · 12/03/2011 09:19

I have searched all over the internet and cannot find Episode 1 so can someone remind me please:

What was it aside from the video card that got the police involved in the first place?
If the killer wanted the crime to be something only he and Nanna knew about (as Bengt said) why leave such obvious clues if not to incriminate Troels?

bettys · 12/03/2011 09:23

Because we're all assuming Bengt is right .....

Blackduck · 12/03/2011 09:40

underwear....The clothes were actually found first and then the card IIRC... If we are talking two attacks we have no idea when the stuff was dropped or why.

Yes, we've got our unidentified pan food resting on the hob with only 8 more hours for it to congeal :)

Thanks blackduck it was bothering me. So someone wanted Nanna's body found otherwise they wouldn't have left the clothes & card so near the crime scene. So is Bengt's theory right?
