I'd like to know what they'll do to the bitten people too. I'm a Zombie Novice but I assume they won't lob vinyl records at them like in "Shaun of the Dead"

It'll be very sad but they will have to do something. I was getting very worried the other night about Amy hoping she wouldn't turn too quickly!

Loving this series and im shit scared of Zombies usually! Not too much gore in this latest episode but it was really sad. Im going to watch the new episode online tomorrow because im just rubbish at waiting (much to DH's disgust).

Andrew Lincoln is indeed Andrew Clutterbuck. My best friend from uni (shes 26) told me a few weeks ago about her favourite teacher 'Mr Clutterbuck' who's brother Andrew came to their school discos and generally hung out at their school here and there (she went to school in Surrey) to gain some experience for his part in 'Teachers'. She knows i have a bit of a 'thang' for Mr Lincoln and told me that he is lovely and his teacher brother is even lovelier... sigh. She speaks very highly of her favourite teacher - i wish my favourite teacher had been the brother of Andrew Lincoln!

Just wondering if they have commissioned a second season as yet or even if it is in production? I really am enjoying the storylines although i have to agree and did think that they must have been nuts to sleep outside and on a mountain top all exposed like that.

Apparently a second season of 13 episodes has been commissioned and starts filming in Feb.

I loved Teachers, have been eyeing up the box-set in Sainsburys this week.

Bilblio - I think the important thing with Zombies is that you have to destroy the brain. There was a bit in last week's ep when someone chopped the head off a Zombie but it was still kind of alive, and the face was moving. Then the brother of Merle stuck an arror through the head and told the others off for not getting the head properly.

Justkeepsparkling - I also wondered about that too. If you got bit on the arm could you quickly chop you arm off above the bite to stop infection? I find that an interesting point, but then maybe I am thinking about it too much!

I thought the scene last week when Rick was reunited with his family was very well done indeed. It was really emotional. Some of you were also having a discussion about whether Shane and Lori were knocking each other off before Rick went into a coma. I am assuming not from the reaction on her face when Rick appeared again. Her face when she looked at Shane over Rick's shoulder said it all really.

AT first I thought she was with Shane before the coma, based on the conversation Rick and Shane were having in the police car right at the start. But from her behaviour now I think she was only doing it after she thought Rick was dead.

So does anyone know for sure if Amy & others will turn into zombies now?

I need a rulebook i think!

The horse that got eaten didn't come back as a zombie-half-horse so maybe the beaten-up guy won't come back, but Amy just got a couple of bites so maybe will?

And where is Merle????

No one knows how the zombies started. Apparently the creator has always be
en adamant that it will never be addressed. He wanted to write about the post- infection and focus on survivors and how they coped.

What I find odd is that none of the characters has ever asked, specially AL after he woke up. Surely a 'WTF happened???' would make sense?

I know! if it were me i'd have so many questions. And when i got to the camp the first time i wouldn't have left again without The Big Chat.
Like on Lost, they never seem to be that curious.

Just watched episode 5 with blokey! Don't worry, I won't spoil it.
It's ace, but get your cushions ready I was squirming quite a bit at one point. DH was too.
The end is great.

Can't believe I've only got one episode to go! Going to have to read the comics now. Apparently they're very different to the series.

but sure no 5 wont make me squirm -that takes a lot - the zomblies eating the guts didnt bother me
