Blondes - Well if you love gore then you are in for a treat! Don't want to spoil it for you though so will say no more. All I will say is that I don't think Zombie perfume would take off!

FX really does show us the most hardcore series doesn't it?

I am definitely going to keep watching I think, but will have to be sure not to watch while DH is around. He can take endless gore in the form of gangster movies but anything else just makes him made [hypocrite emoticon]

DH really keen to watch this and we have the first 2 eps on sky+. He says "Zombies are the new Vampires" - but, BUT zombies just aren't sexy are they? I'm thinking it can't possibly be as good as True Blood...

Watched ep 2 last night, and loved it. I really hope the wife/best friend come to a sticky end.

Also got very exited at the True blood season 3 trailer in the middle.

Did anyone think that it was a bit unbelievable when the rain washed off all the yucky zombie-entrail smell? Ds1 and I agreed that it would take several wash cycles with Persil liquitabs to get rid of that niff.

Of course, the rest of it is utterly believable.

Gemjar - my DH nearly shot through the ceiling when he saw the trailer for True Blood 3!

Also can't wait for True Blood 3. My DP is the one covering his eyes during the gory bits - doesn't really bother me. It's more the tension that gets to me - love it though!

Yes, the rain washing off the gore that quickly was pretty . Have been pleasantly surprised by Andrew Lincoln, was very worried he would spoil it as the last thing I saw him in he was dreadful.

I was freaking out listening to the thunder and knowing it was bound to start raining.... Great series so far I am really enjoying it despite the horrible horse incident.

I can't watch this alone in the house on a Friday night - I have to watch Saturday afternoon, bright sunlight when the DC's are at football.

I have a question, why can't zombies drive cars? They seem pretty smart and able to do everything else.

Am loving this though, even the gory scary stuff.

You know the most distracting thing about the show? The ad breaks- you go from gory zombie to fit Joop male model in a split second. It's all very confusing.
Handcuffed guy has been in loads of series/movies, usually playing baddies. His most famous role was Henry Portrait of serial Killer. He played the title role.

Are zombies blind? (Novice Zombie watcher here). Even covered in gore it was pretty obvious they were not zombies from their faces.

The worst part so far (in terms of gore factor) for me was the end of the horse.

Totally agree about the adverts. Have to Sky+ it and fast forward through them whilst listening to DP saying "lovely, no adverts" for the umpteenth time .

anonacfr, hard to believe I know. I loved him as Egg, and thought he was great in Teachers, but I think it was called First Strike on sky 1 he was truly awful, so much so I almost didn't watch this, but thankfully dh is a zombie addict so I gave it a try.

I agree with Blondes that handcuffed man is going to chop his own hand off and come after them all for revenge.

Do you all genuinely get grossed out by the gore? It's not real, you know

Anyway, what I got really grossed out at was the wife and friend having it off - his big licky tongue gave me the creeps!
