Smoking to vaping?

Has anyone succeeded in swapping smoking for vaping?
I can't stand how addicted to cigarettes I am, I wake every morning in panic about my health.
I just can't seem to get myself to stop! In fact the more I think about it, the more I smoke!
I was thinking trying to switch to vaping might be an idea?
Has anyone managed this? Any tips?

Triphammer usually do festive flavours of some sort. They did mince pie last year. Triphammer fizzy trifle is one of the best sellers. (I wasn’t keen though)

There’s loads of shortbread liquids around and a few chocolate oranges. Loads of candy cane as well.

Thank you both! Off on hols tomorrow so that will be a real test but feeling optimistic and treated myself to a stylish new vape pen which I like a lot and seems to hit the spot ok.

Is there a current thread for us vapers anywhere? There used to be vaping vipers but I can't find it. I've vaped for 5years now!
Basically I've got a kangertech e-cig and getting very fed up with the replacement coils lasting only a day, I've bought from Amazon, independent and eBay, no luck! And the battery lasts almost one day.
I'd like to upgrade to something more modern, but not huge like the Aspire and not chunky, any suggestions?

I know this is an old thread but I've sat tonight and read every post.

I've smoked 20 a day for 20 years only stopping during my 4 pregnancies (ignore my username there's no bump at the minute 🤣) but I start again every time.

Me and my DH started vaping on Monday. He's done really well and hasn't had a single cigarette. I've had a few each day but he doesn't know 🙈.

Yesterday he nipped out to the barbers and I went straight round to my neighbour to pinch a smoke off her before he came back.
It's so bad that I'm such an addict I'm creeping round like that and keeping things from him but I know if he knows I've been smoking he will too and I don't want to undo his good work.

Well today he's been in all day so I've not had a chance to have a sneaky one. I actually haven't even had real cravings although I've though about smoking a lot (probably mainly due to reading this thread tbh). So 🤞 that getting through my first smoke free day is going to keep me on the straight and narrow tomorrow and I won't be tempted as soon as he leaves for work.

I'm going to download the smoke free app and go to buy some different flavours of juice tomorrow too.

Keep going @3boysandabump it will get easier! I'm now 8 and a bit months in from the start of this thread and I haven't had a single cigarette since I started. I'm so so proud of myself, but I think I just convinced myself that it was a different way to smoke, so I still say I'm going for a smoke... I hope you manage to stick with it!

I wouldn’t have done it without the awesome support here either Luna- 10 months on I’m so glad I did! Best thing I ever did and vaping was the only thing that worked for me.

I like the sound of a vaping vipers thread- it’d be good to have somewhere for ongoing support and vape chat

I'm still vaping away. I do smoke 20 now and then if I go out drinking or when I had a day trip abroad as didn't want to take liquid as only had hand luggage.

But I find it easy to not smoke after. So maybe I'll smoke 20 and then won't do it again for a few months. I'm ok with that 😂

I generally don’t want to smoke any more but do have the odd moment when I really do, I haven’t because I think I’m a bit all or nothing with it and worry I’d just end up on the fags again full time!

I have been on and of smoking for years.
I vaped at one time which did help as, completely went of smoking and the Vaping. Then I started a new job and everyone smoked there and picked up the habit again. Now I'm back Vaping and really enjoying the fruit flavours from Www.ecigstoreuk.com
