I'm at work feeling a bit fucked. Hopefully no one has noticed I'm a zombie.
Really can't carry on with this lifestyle, it's bloody exhausting. I also had a nose bleed when I got up which is a new low.
Oh God I just want to hide under my desk.

How is your new job lost?!

The new job is going ok I think. We had a meeting this morning. The best bit was the coffee and posh biscuits
Can't wait til home time though!

Phew so relieved to be home! Feel a bit more human after a quick shower and a nice cold Carlsberg. I'll definitely be staying on my board tonight though. Possibly in a collapsed position.

Last night was a curve ball. Usually dh and I will have a conversation about it before getting some and both have to agree. It's sort of an unwritten rule.
I don't know if you could have something like that with your dh Dusty?
That said, sometimes it causes an argument and also of course if one of us wants to fall over board, we tend to pull the other one with us I totally identify with your predicament Dusty.

I was cross with dh for about 5 minutes. That's how weak I am. I hate my addict brain.

I had that day on Monday - the comedown hit then. I nearly fell asleep at my desk and I had REALLY BAD hay fever.

Am having a quiet weekend this weekend. All oven dishes are hidden and I'm wearing flippers.

I'm ok tonight, not even French as I've been out with family and drove back. MrD stayed in and had way too much gin and god knows what else.
But it's like being a child and knowing there are sweets, you just want them, you aren't thinking about your teeth...

I am spending the day gardening like a pensioner.

I'll be disappointed if you don't have Radio Four on and are getting up occasionally to say "ooh my back"

I'm nodding at your sweet analogy, Dusty. I can't be in the same room as Mr.Lost if he's had some and I haven't. It makes me irrationally grumpy and jealous!

That sounds civilized Ponz Glad you're feeling a bit better. It is very hot. I'm dreading all this menopause stuff, it'll probably tip me over the edge. I'm just not thinking about it in a typical Lost head in the sand way.

I've been absurdly tired today. Feel like I'm running on empty. I could probably sleep for a week actually
(Gawd is that a menopause symptom or just all the drugs? ..hard to tell )

Yes I think I'm past the danger hour. Had make it a big deal though about not wanting any this weekend. We've been to see a good mate who's just out of hospital which is sobering. I've had gin and beer, watching a doc about Lemmy

Brilliant Dusty. Changing up the routine and keeping busy always helps me. Just so there doesn't feel like there's something missing.
Wanting to change and choosing not to do it is a real turning point I think. It makes it less of a habit.
And you'll feel great in the morning

I'm so glad that its not last Sunday again. Although I do have gardening related leg soreness.

Terribly hungover here as went to a BBQ yesterday and drunk my own body weight in cider. Could be worse as I was tempted to 'phone a friend' on way back but luckily it was too late by time we left. Glad everyone is on board, have a great sunny Sunday. Now just to get out of bed.....

Sounds like we all had a fairly healthy weekend. Hooch Hope you've recovered from your cider/bbq extravaganza.
Went to a bbq last night and had a few drinks but feel ok today. Just hot!

I'm having a cold lager and a whine I think it's allowed during a heatwave.
