Same here lost. I'm danger of replacing one with the other BUT I think that getting rid of one is essential then we can tackle the booze.

Jesus why can men not fucking find things that are right in front of their bastarding eyes!!!!!!! ( on another note obvs).

Got to go and look for DD's shin pads as DP gone temporarily blind. Grrr

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 16/09/2017 11:33

Yeah, I don't want to lurch from one vice to another Ponz. Confused

The old "I can't be arsed to look for things" blindness! That's a classic Mr .Lost move. Looks half heartedly in wardrobe, "Where are my jeans?" Er, probably on the floor in a crumpled mess where you left them dear.

Morning all, currently in the hairdressers covered in foil, not head to toe obvs! Reminds me of the time I had highlights after going overboard, gah the thought makes me want to faint Shock Well done everyone on surfing, Serial a month is fantastic! Feeling a tad hungover, didn't drink that much but think I overdid the vaping, always have to overdo something!

Know what you mean about the drinking but thinking one step at a time. Would love to do CTC 'clean til Christmas' but aiming for end of the month as a start. We can do this Ladies!!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 16/09/2017 11:52

Aye one step at a time Smile

I once hosted a party in my house for a load of 5 year olds on a hideous comedown. I think they all had a great time trashing my house and screaming but I was a jibbering wreck afterwards.

Enjoy your lovely new hair Hooch.

Morning dudettes. Did everyone survive the shark infested waters of Saturday night?

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/09/2017 11:38

Yes! Had an early night too, very strange but feel better for it. I've got loads done today instead of the morning passing in a dreadful blur.
Smug tree here we come..

Happy Sunday all Flowers

OP posts:
HoochiMama · 17/09/2017 12:03

Survived here too although in a right mood! Having a really Meh weekend of endless washing (how can one teenager create so much??) and housework whilst said teenager swans around going out with mates and to cinema. I suppose I'm a big jealous Hmm I even went swimming this morning but still got the hump. Hey ho at least I don't have the horrors Grin Have a good Sunday all xx

serialtester · 17/09/2017 12:04

Early night here too! I'm having a very sensible weekend.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/09/2017 12:17

I felt like that last night Hooch, everything was irritating me even DH's voice! Hopefully our moods will even out after a while off it. At the moment it feels a bit crap without my favourite hobby. Confused
I'm impressed you went swimming. I don't have that much get up and go on a Sunday.

Great result all round though. Dusty hope you're ok to x

ponzusoup · 17/09/2017 12:50

He he smug tree ( slightly grumpy one) all round.

I fell asleep on sofa at 1015. Would normally have had cheeky 9pm line and stayed up until midnight.

Woke at 5am tho and couldn't get back to sleep.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/09/2017 14:36

Drug free, slightly grumpy tree Grin

OP posts:
DustyDuck · 17/09/2017 23:14

In the grumpy tree too, lost. Both DDs have gone now and I miss them already. MrD and I went to a casino last night ( really not as glam as it sounds) then a bar and got v drunk on gin. When I asked if he had any he says no, still abstaining. Which is great, obvs.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/09/2017 20:05

You didn't sound too convinced about it being great Dusty Grin Skinful of gin + coke probably seemed like a splendid idea at the time.
It must feel very quiet at home without the dds. A bit discombobulating. Great that they're both into university though.

Have a great/ less grumpy week all!

OP posts:
DustyDuck · 18/09/2017 20:09

Well on one hand it's great because he's been the main man so if he's not doing it I wouldn't get any on my own. Which stops me doing it, which is a good thing. On the other hand, why am I relying on a man to make the decision? Why can't I do what I want?! I could, but I'm choosing not to. Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/09/2017 20:40

I sometimes pick up but if dh does, the bad decision is out of my hands and I can blame him but be secretly delighted. I'm an awful person.

You probably wouldn't buy it given the choice Dusty but can't refuse it if it's there?
Fuck knows, I seem to have turned into some sort of armchair psychologist.

OP posts:
ponzusoup · 20/09/2017 20:06

Okay ladies have you started a secret party thread without me?

HoochiMama · 20/09/2017 21:31

Well if they have they forgot to invite me too Ponz! Either that or everyone's having an uneventful week. I really want a glass of wine but can't be bothered to go to the shop. That's how exciting my evening's been Grin

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/09/2017 22:04

Oh God, a party thread sounds great.
I haven't even had a drink this week. I'm really trying to curb things and just be high on life. So far, it's been quite shit.

Virtual Wine and Gin for us all

OP posts:
HoochiMama · 20/09/2017 22:08

Well done Lost, no drinking is great and extremely boring Trying to be high on life here too but not really working. Have been to shop and got wine but may not open the bottle, just a comfort to know it's there if I want it Hmm ffs!

ponzusoup · 20/09/2017 22:10

I've had wine. But nothing else. Lovely to see you all. Been watching scary tv prog about ageing and importance of exercise and diet. Bring back yoga tim !

serialtester · 20/09/2017 22:16

I've had a rather shit week. We got burgled. I can feel my Friday surfboard wobbling.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 20/09/2017 22:28

Serial You win for shittest week. That's awful. Flowers

OP posts:
ponzusoup · 20/09/2017 22:31

Serial. That is so shit. Sending a hug. Hope they didn't take anything irreplaceable. Don't let the fuckers drive you to drugs. Ironically, the last time I got burgled they were smackheads doing it for a score. Rise above honey xxxx

HoochiMama · 20/09/2017 22:42

Oh no Serial, that's terrible. So sorry xx
