Zig we have much in common. I do that too. Can't stand a silence so wear my heart on my sleeve, blather on , then get annoyed by all the sneaky manoeuvring that I would never think of doing to get my kid further along, looked after, made friends with. Etc. So many selfish knobheads out there.

I thought about moving 'home' ( a big northern city - I'm currently in London) but I can't live near my abusive cold hearted mother.

Are you moving soon?

ZiggertyZaggerty · 11/05/2017 18:25

I've just realised my last post makes me sound like a smelly slob! I DO change my pants - obvs.
It was just one morning - honest! I'd been to collect oh from the airport at silly o'clock and just hauled myself out of bed and put trackies on. I popped in for milk to the garage and of course saw a 'new mum friend' and tried to explain my unbrushed hair and teeth.
I'm even waffling now aren't I... Blush
Moving is taking forever - god knows what the solicitors are up to.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 11/05/2017 18:31

Oh it's always hard to make school mum friends. The playground seems to bring out everyone's inner school girl! She doesn't sound very yoga like Ponzu Confused Someone needs to realign her chakras pronto.

Laughing about telling people you've got yesterday's pants on Grin. I'd be your friend Zig

Sometimes I wonder if this is one of the reasons I use drugs and alcohol as a crutch socially. I don't care what anyone thinks when I'm off my nut. Hmm

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 11/05/2017 18:34

You can stop digging that hole now, Zig Grin
Moving is so stressful, you have my sympathy.

HoochiMama · 11/05/2017 23:41

Oh my days, DS is 14 now but so remember back to the primary school days with all the clicky mums. I was the harassed single parent working full time with a childminder. Some of the motherfucking 'perfect' mothers has the audacity to phone me up at work to tell me how 'awful' DS had been. The irony is now that he is one of the most popular boys at secondary school and theirs struggle to fit in (mostly at grammar or private). Not that I'm bitter but fuck you very much! Bollocks to the yoga mums Ponzu and Zig. Ps I am very French tonight xx

HoochiMama · 11/05/2017 23:45

P.s there is nothing wrong with wearing yesterday's knickers. Have they never been to Glastonbury??

ponzusoup · 12/05/2017 08:38

Music to my ears hooch music to my ears.

HoochiMama · 12/05/2017 08:51

Morning all! I am so hungover that I can't actually see properly. White wine is evil when drunk in vast amounts. I'm in my own special kind of hell and have a meeting with a very senior client in an hours time. Pray for me.... Confused

ponzusoup · 12/05/2017 09:01

Bless you hooch.

Carbs and coffee and ... surf it.

Sometimes I'm a teensy but drunk the next day and have the best meetings?

Sending you good vibes. It's nearly the weekend.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 09:14

It helps if I splash lots of cold water on my face then lots of under eye concealer, moisturiser and lip balm to look fresh faced (and lucozade).

I had a few drinks last night and slept through both my alarms so a horrible morning rushing around getting everyone up and general panicking. I'm now at work with wet hair and a headache. Confused

Good luck Hooch just keep going, you'll be fine. x
I hope you've got clean knickers on.

ZiggertyZaggerty · 12/05/2017 10:28

Carbs and coke both kinds normally work for me Hooch - hope it doesn't drag on too loooooong.
Is Thursday the new Friday? Hooch and Lost? You should've said, I'd have joined you Smile
Did you see yoga mum today Ponz? Hope she smells like houmous (homous?hummus?)
Got my clean pants on today and off to the gym. Getting ready for the daaaanger zooonnnnne Confused

HoochiMama · 12/05/2017 11:54

Thanks ladies, I survived! In fact it took my mind off it for a bit. Still feel dreadful though, almost as bad as a comedown Sad Was a work do Zig, they are always on Thursdays and there was free wine and I'm a greedy cow! On the plus side has put me off going overboard anytime soon!

Ps hope your hairs dried now Lost Smile

ZiggertyZaggerty · 12/05/2017 13:28

Free wine Hooch?!?! What a great company to work for! Do you also have a faulty off switch like some of us on here?

Yes, work do crash sounds like a plan. I'll wear a jacket I bought in a charity shop that MrD says looks like sonrrthing Theresa May would wear. Will blend in nicely

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 14:29

Ha ha work do crash. I'm sure you can rock a Pissed on free wine Theresa May look Dusty. Grin

I'm going to be sporting a false moustache. it will prevent me sniffing anything

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 19:45

Evening all. I'm still surfing.
Giving a nod to Germany today with a few Becks and watching Top of the Pops. Sea forecast; fairly choppy tonight.
I'm blowing up armbands for anyone wobbling in the Danger Zone. Smile

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 19:52

I'm Still Surfing ..Track 4 of our Small Mercies album with Elton John on vocals.

ZiggertyZaggerty · 12/05/2017 20:57

No need to blow up mins thanks though Lost. I'm pyjamarated and in bed watching telly alreadyHalo
Hope you other surfers are in smooth waters. Maybe French waters Wink

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 21:17

Zig Excellent surfing my friend. I've crossed The Channel into French waters but still have ze headache so planning a nice bath. Have the small thrill of clean bed sheets tonight.
Trying to embrace the mundane but can't stop fantasising about a line. Everything's so much more sparkly and colourful on coke. Gah.

DustyDuck · 12/05/2017 22:21

Armbands here please! Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 12/05/2017 22:42
