That's exactly what I look like riding in my pool on a 'fat' day

CleaningLikeAMotherFucker · 14/04/2017 12:37

Not sure if this is allowed but I've had zero answers so I'm being resourceful Grin

Also, my body confident bubble was officially burst by those pics Envy

I would have thought so, Cleaning although I'm not an airport expert.
Maybe make sure you have proof of your flight and booking number?

I can see your point. Your Italian stallion can hardly get to the airport at the same time as dh.. he he Wink

(p.s you officially started the most boring thread ever Grin)

CleaningLikeAMotherFucker · 14/04/2017 14:03

Oh shit I do sound like I'm smuggling a bloke don't I Grin

And no, I once read a thread about a door stop. That's a clear dullness winner in my eyes!

serialtester · 14/04/2017 17:27

I think doorstops could be quite contentious!

Big family dinner here, cooked by moi - could really do with a line to survive this. Wine is not dulling my urge to kill people.

Ooh good luck Serial! God, buzzing off your nut at a big family dinner would be interesting Wink Don't go all Serial killer on us.. aha ha..

Keep on with the wine. No dealer will understand a bloody word of your French so you'll be fine.
Hope it goes well Smile

DustyDuck · 14/04/2017 20:20

At my parents' for the night as I'm working nearby. Dullsville Central so an early sober night for once.
Got a big Sunday lunch planned with 3 of Mr Ds pub friends. I know what's going to happen...

DustyDuck · 14/04/2017 20:22

Cleaning- what made you read the thread? Are you a secret doorstop fetishist? Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 14/04/2017 21:11

"Are doorsteps frightfully common? Please discuss" Grin
Enjoy your quiet night with your parents, Dusty. Will be lovely for you to have a day off on Sunday (from work and the surfboard by the sounds of it!) Envy

I'm meeting up with my lovely but sensible sisters, bils and kids tomorrow so determined not to be ruined for that. I'm desperately trying to convince myself I don't need anything tonight and trying to ignore my coke brain. Confused
Watching a gripping crime drama with dh at mo..

Sunday Hope you're ok after your topple overboard yesterday x

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 14/04/2017 21:13

Whoops, I meant doorstops silly me, everyone has door steps.

HoochiMama · 15/04/2017 02:24

Excuse my French but FML about stopping off a friends to avoid falling overboard. That would have been the easy option. Copious amounts of alcohol have been drunk but I have drunk myself sober. Friend had to be put to bed as almost comatose and DS somehow found the vodka and pucked all over the floor Envy Washing machine is on at 2am and I have accidentally smashed a lamp Confused Not sure where I will sleep but will be sliding off early doors. There is also someone snoring very loudly. FML again!!

ZiggertyZaggerty · 15/04/2017 07:29

At least you didn't fall overboard though Hooch Poor ds - I hope he's okay today? You sure ended your holiday with a bang Wink

HoochiMama · 15/04/2017 08:10

Yes there is that and won't be tempted for rest of weekend as feel so illEnvy DS seems fine thankfully, deary me Confused

DustyDuck · 15/04/2017 08:18

At least DS only found the vodka!

serialtester · 15/04/2017 09:05

Morning surfers! Survived the night!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 15/04/2017 09:55

Morning all Smile
Oh Hooch it sounds like one of those nights that goes all pear shaped. Poor you.

I think it's a rite of passage for teens to nick some booze from their parents. In my youth, my cousin and I nicked some at a wedding and I was sick at the reception. Blush

Hope you feel better soon Brew

Well done Serial cooking for and hosting a big family meal is hard work! (or maybe that's just my family? Grin)

ZiggertyZaggerty · 15/04/2017 19:41

Mr Zig had a surprise night (and tomorrow!) off!! So I am a bit sploshed Confused But happy about that (is that wrong?)
Hope you are all surfing the rocky waves!

HoochiMama · 15/04/2017 19:56

That's lovely Zig, of course you should be happy. Have a great night with Mr Zig x

serialtester · 15/04/2017 20:17

I've spent all day recovering from the stress lost!

Zig, enjoy your evening!

Hi All, had a very low day.

Dreading going home tomorrow. I feel an impending sense of doom about seeing my mother over Easter. I may need to drink to the point of vomming myself. Sorry Hooch, don't mean to take the piss.

In all seriousness though, seeing my mother does usually end up with a phone call. Sad

HoochiMama · 15/04/2017 21:10

Take the piss all you like Cleaning, it's well deserved! Sorry you're feeling down today, coming back to reality after a holiday isn't great but sounds like you've had a fab time. Maybe drink your way through the mother visit but try not to vom!

sundaymorningbringsthedawnin · 15/04/2017 22:11

Hey all, so it's my Dh's birthday today, he isn't here, he is at the golf club where he has been for the last 3 days. I found a bit of stash left so have indulged. There isn't much thankfully but I am so utterly fucked off, bored and lonely.
Sorry, I am being very self pitying. I really think I want a divorce. We do absolutely nothing together other than getting wasted occasionally and even then we rarely talk. We sleep in separate rooms and have no sex life at all I know his club membership renewal is coming up which will be in excess of 3.5k but we can't afford a family holiday - again.
If I leave me and Dd will probably have to go and live at my mums, we don't own our house and have no savings and I work part time.
I just don't think I can carry on like this Sad
Just needed a bit of a rant

sundaymorningbringsthedawnin · 15/04/2017 22:18

Gah, sorry for harshing the vibe on this thread!

DustyDuck · 15/04/2017 22:32

What do you think this is, Relationships?! Seriously it's ok to rant. Do you mean you and dh don't own a home or that he does but you don't? Would he agree to divorce? Could you afford it? Sadly there's no legal aid any more for divorce ( I had the last of it)

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 15/04/2017 22:39

Oh Sunday ((hug)) for you. That sounds so hard. I think public holidays sometimes bring it home even more if there are cracks in your relationship if you see what I mean.
You deserve to be happy Flowers Vent all you want, sometimes you've just got to have a moan.

Cleaning chin up Smile You can do this! Perhaps you can cut your visit over Easter short? I can cope with some family members if it's in small doses!

I'm being quite good, just a bit pissed so sorry if I'm rambling on..Confused Love you lot, you're all great x
