Anyone out there on their boards tonight?

ponzusoup · 08/05/2017 22:23

Ah hi zig just clocked the time of your post.

Yeah we must be a definite 'thing' us forty odd sneaky partiers ....

ZiggertyZaggerty · 08/05/2017 22:38

Ponzu - yes to sneaky! The person I am in my head doesn't always match the person I am in the real world. But I'm trying to be the real-life person more and more.
Hence - I've got my pjs on and am in bed with a mint tea.
Night night Surfers Smile

ponzusoup · 08/05/2017 22:55

Night. Just treated myself to a hair treatment and slathered myself in moisturiser. Off to bed with my book.

Sigh. That's the worst guilt for me, the sneakiness rather than the actual use.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 09/05/2017 07:43

Good Morning.
Pyjamas, cups of tea and moisturiser treatments.. how sensible are we? Grin Hope you've woken up all swishy hair and silky skinned, Ponzu!

God yes, the secrecy. Now my oldest are teens, I'd be mortified if they knew and also a complete hypocrite if I ever thought they were experimenting with anything. Confused

A Colombian Old people's home sounds lovely. We would sit wrapped in blankets being fed toast and tea and watching Netflix.

serialtester · 09/05/2017 21:03

Hello. Despite being a Tuesday I find myself in the middle of a huge craving. The Columbian old peoples home would kick me out for sure!!

Why after 4 fucking months am I dying for a line???

OP posts:
serialtester · 09/05/2017 21:05

I won't have one, I'm going to bed soon - but jeeee-sus. I'm crawling the walls.

OP posts:
serialtester · 09/05/2017 21:07

I had a dream about it last night too.

ZiggertyZaggerty · 09/05/2017 22:30

God it SUCKS when you get a craving that bad - getting one after 4 months Serial must feel very odd. 4 months is fucking amazing to be surfing - please try not to fall in... Ride that tsunami wave. You can do it!

ponzusoup · 09/05/2017 22:31

Hang on to your surf board serial.

These things can creep up or appear long after we thought the craves had gone.

I still sometimes feel like that with fags after ten years.

Distract distract distract yourself.

It won't be worth it and you know that deep down. Try not to dwell , do something physical? You tube yoga with tim works for me ( I'm crap at yoga but kind of like trying and tim is very handsome and you'd struggle to snort a line in a downward dog Grin)

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 09/05/2017 22:39

Sorry Serial I missed your major wobble Sad Hopefully you're all tucked up now (as opposed to fucked up) !

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the weird coke dreams at least..
It's always there I suppose in your mind, perhaps that never goes away completely. I must admit, sometimes the dreams are really good though..

At least our OAP home's in Columbia. We can liven up the evenings with some local produce.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 09/05/2017 22:43

You Tube Yoga with Tim sounds interesting! Must remember to look that up tomorrow.

ponzusoup · 09/05/2017 22:46

Tim senesi.

I'd recommend. I'd never do a public yoga class as would fart and fall over so can do that in the privacy of my own home for free!

I've been doing day one and two if beginners yoga on and off for a few months.

Am marginally less crap at it.

It's very distracting tho and tim is swoony.

We must invite him to the columbian retirement home. Wink

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 09/05/2017 22:54

Thanks Ponz I think I'm best doing yoga on my own too.

We'll fly Tim out to Columbia for PE lessons and general massage requirements.

DustyDuck · 09/05/2017 22:57

I'm very interested in the Columbian retirement home. I'll get a brochure.

Ooh they have young male nurses to dispense the local medicine

ponzusoup · 09/05/2017 23:04

Will they mind that we will be senile and incontinent after all that raving followed by childbirth?

Will we care?

Columbia will be just the place for us under those conditions.

ZiggertyZaggerty · 09/05/2017 23:22

I've just checked out Yoga Tim - he's a good looking fella ain't he!! He doesn't look like he'd approve of our local medication in Columbia though Confused

DustyDuck · 09/05/2017 23:30

Seriously, I had to visit a dementia home for work. It was grim. Imagine being stuck in there with cravings Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 10/05/2017 06:46

It doesn't bear thinking about Dusty. Let's hope we're sweet old ladies that wear pink cardigans and watch Countdown.

Apparently our Tim had a drug and alcohol problem and yoga cured him. He claims it's better than being high.
I need to get more flexible anyway. I mowed the lawns and cut down some brambles yesterday and can hardly move my arms today. I'm so unfit!

Have a great Wednesday all x

ponzusoup · 10/05/2017 08:13

Ooh I love tim even more now. He can be our mascot on the columbian tour.

His sessions are good ! Haven't got past day two mind.

Serial hope you are feeling more zen today.

serialtester · 10/05/2017 13:24

I had a nice early night, feel much better today - so far!!

I must google yoga tim!

ZiggertyZaggerty · 10/05/2017 17:48

I'm going to try a tasty Tim session after ds is in bed! It does count as exercise doesn't it? Hmm

ZiggertyZaggerty · 10/05/2017 17:48

Glad you've lost your itch Serial

ponzusoup · 10/05/2017 17:57

It SO counts as exercise.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 10/05/2017 18:35

Dear Tim,
We're a group of middle aged women struggling to give up our druggy party lifestyles. No pressure, but we're counting on your yoga and are hoping it turns our lives around.
We also find you very attractive and would like to invite you on a coach trip to Colombia. (refreshments supplied)
Yours faithfully, the Surfers x

Not too creepy, I hope Grin
