Do you need to get to sleep or can you manage on none? Hope you are ok x

choccywoccywoowah · 18/03/2017 04:46

I really should sleep. Given up on driving tomorrow anyway. Just have my son's 11am swimming lesson to get through and that's it. Kids love staying in on a Saturday - well I hope I'm not just telling myself that. We let them get all the cushions off the sofa and make dens etc. FIL can drive us to swimming.

choccywoccywoowah · 18/03/2017 04:48

We always go on a day out on Sundays too. This weekend we are going to Eureka. I'm justifying. How does my partner sleep?! Snoring away.

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 04:49

Big glass of juice and some paced breathing to bring you down a bit, I know that helps friends of mine. I've never been able to sleep on the stuff.

Did you have a good night?

choccywoccywoowah · 18/03/2017 04:53

Me neither. How old are your children and what are you up to tomorrow/today? I usually drink myself to sleep. I dont normally see my use as a problem but been having a few issues at the moment that the white stuff probably exacerbates

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 05:00

My DD is nearly 7. I'm a lone parent so will be ready for wake up in an hour. Today will be homework and drama group day. Will be cooking for a friend staying over tonight too.

How old are yours?

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 05:02

The thing with me is it actually makes me more patient and attentive so am looking forward to a good day now. It's when I don't sleep for weeks it starts being an issue.

choccywoccywoowah · 18/03/2017 05:11

How do you get on with things and not feel conscious that people will be able to tell. I have just started taking antidepressants for the first time in my life and they make my pupils huge. It makes me so so paranoid that people will think I am on drugs even when i havent touched any in months and though nobody knows etc

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 05:14

Are you on venlafaxine by any chance?

I think I come across so strangely anyway that it makes no difference!

choccywoccywoowah · 18/03/2017 05:21

Citalopram or however you spell it.

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 05:25

How are you finding them?

ZiggertyZaggerty · 18/03/2017 08:14

Thank god for CBeebies - need tea

ZiggertyZaggerty · 18/03/2017 08:26

Kinetic how are you this morning?
Hello Choc welcome - citalopram for me too. They've really helped me, luckily I don't get big pupils with them though!

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 08:30

Morning, I'm great thank you, having a tidy while DD does her homework :)

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/03/2017 09:03

Something tells me you're still bang on it, Kinetic !

Just be careful sweetheart. I think that old addictions you've overcome leave a hole and it's scarily easy to fall back into that hole when you relapse. Before you know it, you've fallen back into your old habit.

Be aware of that, and how hard it is to pull yourself out! Flowers

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/03/2017 09:06

Brew for Zig hope you're feeling better soon. Moving house is hard work!

Welcome Choc, tell us a bit about your story if you can Smile it sounds as though you're having a difficult time at the moment.

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 09:08

No slept but had my last bit for today at 4.30am. Still got 3/4s of the bag left Confused

I am going to delete their numbers to avoid this again. Not overly mad at myself but forgot how much I love this feeling!

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 09:09

Coffee is going to be my friend today!

serialtester · 18/03/2017 09:26

Busy night in the sea wasn't it?! Have a good Saturday everyone!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/03/2017 09:30

Sounds like you still have your feet on the ground, Kinetic. Sorry for the lecture! I've made the mistake of going back to an old habit and thinking I can keep it in check this time, so wanted to warn you.

Hope everyone has a super Saturday Smile

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 09:32

No problem! I am well aware how easy it would be to slide back to where I was, I am determined not to do that.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/03/2017 09:33

Yep, you missed the tidal waves last night, Serial
Enjoy your day, don't get tres tres ba`tteured. Wink

ZiggertyZaggerty · 18/03/2017 09:36

Kinetic - only 1/4g has kept you awake all night?! Crikey - that sounds like strong stuff! I hope the coffee helps you through today. I'm looking forward to bath and pyjamrating later... and feeling normal. Aghhh why do we do this to ourselves?

kineticmagnetic · 18/03/2017 09:53

It is dynamite!

ZiggertyZaggerty · 18/03/2017 09:59

Sounds more like Kryptonite!
