grumpy the colour is beautiful...can't tell on the shape until I know what your shape is (if you know what I mean!)

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 02/03/2010 19:51

grumpy I like that dress but I love most of her stuff. Do you have the hourglass figure?

hells that sucks re:purse, hope your cards are sent quickly.

I need a black everyday winter coat for next year.
This

this (current fave)

notyummy · 02/03/2010 19:57

For wedding?

silk

Also:

Moschino

notyummy · 02/03/2010 19:58

Sorry to hear about the purse - rubbish.

BTW - how does one know if one is winter/summer etc?

I sometimes wonder if I am wearing the right colours for a brown eyed auburn head with a few freckles!

traceybath · 02/03/2010 19:59

Hells - nightmare re. your wallet

Grumpy - nice dress but would look awful on me as am apple shape with no waist at all.

hellsbelles · 02/03/2010 20:02

oh I have inside info on the ossie clarke! I ordered it a while back and (at least on me) it was deeply unflattering in RL. Not sure why and I thought it would be lovely...but alas no.

Yummy - you have to go get your colours done. I got them done as a birthday present when I was about 16!

traceybath · 02/03/2010 20:08

I always think Ossie Clarke is/was designed for people with no boobs.

Have been perusing handbags and still think the kew one is the nicest and very well priced too.

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 20:12

right, am really going to try to respond to everything. Forgive me if I fail.

tracey I like those FC ones but I think I want something a bit 'fiercer' less pretty .. hence the glad-y look being a thumbs up ... PC I know what you mean about the leather but I'm not sure how much I care for a 'kicking about in the day' tee ... the shoes I wore to death last SS were £12 from Primark and were perfect!! Will ponder further...

I like both of the anthropologie bags but would have to ditch the scarf - tres annoying

sorry LIbra - the Isabella cardigan and the Tam Tam dress. You need both. Here's the dress - the buttons come down far enough to bf. I have it in purple and brown. It has saved my life over the winter. Having said that I am heartily sick of them both now and poised to get rid!! Which is why my dd made me laugh this morning

Hello tea!! I m useless on hair, sorry. Hopefully someone more clued up will be along. Glad you love the boots!

aargh I love those Choos too

oooh grumpy I usually don't like VWA at all but that dress is lovely. Fab colour

oh hells! that's so awful, I;m sorry. What a pain. Which Gap? On the plus side, am pleased you like the swan tee. I've got OPs too - the Chelsea ones - are we snap?

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 20:18

I know this is OT but the gorgeous geordiminx has just informed me that this song, for which my dh shot the video, is Radio 1's record of the week, So here's the video - not as winsome as the one from JML? JFK? what the sam hill are they called tracey?

teafortwo · 02/03/2010 20:21

grumpy - lovely dress! It screams sexy but with brains!!!

oh hells!!! I am so sorry to hear about your wallet - poor you (in both ways)! It is a horrible, horrible thing to happen.

I can't seem to find any nice hairstyle websites for ideas - something as simple a nice website for normal looking hair would be good (not big over styled stuff)!

traceybath · 02/03/2010 20:21

Oh you can pretend but I know you've secretly been listening to JLS

Wow - your DH has a cool job - do you get to go to lots of glam stuff?

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 02/03/2010 20:25

nice, er, flyover , MrLTEC!

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 20:28

eh PC?

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 02/03/2010 20:34

Is this horrible?

LTEC - glamorous job for your DH. Let me know if you put the dresses on ebay, I have actually got this in my asos basket already.

notyummy I have very similar colouring to you!

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 02/03/2010 20:37

Sorry, too cryptic!

Was just imagining your DH in the briefing:

'So, MrLTEC, we want you to make our new music video'

"Okay, great. That's excellent news. Where were you thinking? New York? Rio? Or how about Miami?"

'Oh no, somewhere far more real that that. We've already booked all the travel arrangements, and tomorrow we're all going to look at a location in..'

"Mumbai?"

'Birmingham. It's a disused car-park, with a really cool stretch of flyover.'

"Okay, great" 'Roll on, return to Oz'

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 20:44

ha ha. Yes I see what you mean. Keeping it 'real' LOL

It's actually not very glamorous. Sadly, for me, who would love it to be (DH would hate it, he eschews glamour in all its forms and I also blame his job for his dislike of artifice, including makeup and good hair )

A feature film that he shot will be in cinemas throughout the UK so I expect you to all go and see it!!! It's called My Last 5 Girlfriends.

Right, back to shopping.

traceybath · 02/03/2010 20:57

Oh that film is mentioned on the jigsaw website ltec - I am now fully expecting to see you at the oscars.

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 21:03

I am in the film tracey!! only briefly, but playing the leading lady's best mate. Opening the door to her in the middle of the night in my PJs

I think there was some link up with Jigsaw bc some of their clothes were used. Hoss Intropia too.

OllieWollieWoo · 02/03/2010 21:22

OM God LTEC - you are on You Tube in a clip from the fil (was nosey so I googled film)! Wow - look at you! You look stunning! Do you want me to post it????? (Thought I would better check first???!)

VerityBrulee · 02/03/2010 21:26

I have been wondering all afternoon if I can admit to you all what I did this morning ..........I bought something in Per Una

I had seen this grey jacket in M&S last week, so I went in to try it on, nice enough but grey is not really my colour, I was just puting on my coat when out of the corner of my eye I spotted this It is fab on, I had a breton t on today and they look great together, the jacket sleeves are 3/4 length, it nips in at the waist and I love the cream trim. It's a lightweight jersey, so it's more of a cardigan substitute than an outdoor jacket IYSWIM. I am tempted to remove the label just in case I'm outed as a Per Una wearer!

Off to read the thread, back in an hour

LetThemEatCake · 02/03/2010 21:30

eh? I'm not in the trailer!!

My bit is with a baby over my shoulder.. that's not on youtube is it? Don't post if it is .... I was 6 weeks post natal and enormous, in a scene with a woman whose jeans would just about fit my arms on a skinny day.

Basically, the scene called for a knackered-looking woman to open the door to her friend in the middle of the night. And dh said "oh we don't need to pay someone for that ..."

OllieWollieWoo · 02/03/2010 21:34

Ok wont post, glad I checked! Its def on You Tube tho - there is some bloke talking about the storyline of the film, and there is a clip of you opening door, hugging friend, then the next shot is of you holding a baby. You look fine - better than fine - really love the PJ's. Very of your DH for thinking of you!

hellsbelles · 02/03/2010 21:37

LTEC - I think you are my dear (nosey person that checked youtube after the OWW tip off) - and you look GORGEOUS! I cannot believe that is 6 weeks pp (though I guess DS slung over shoulder is a clue ) -

I love the op's you have but they aren't the same as mine - weirdly I can't find mine will post when I find them (I don't know what they are called so will go by look)'

It was my local Gap in islington - the place where you claim to be opening your door in that clip!!
