I’ve ordered Harrods BAC 💃🏻🎉, the AB eye cream, Shisheido eye, valmont, Medik8, Lyma Power Youth, the make up and lots of other things swung it for me! Glad to have made a decision!! Will be looking out for a few things on Vinted but this is my one and only advent. Now to decide what to spend my Beauty Drop credit on. If I stop this after the Oct box and restart in Feb I assume my credit will still be there?

I bought the Boots skincare one today, using points that I'd saved through the recycling scheme. I had it last year and really enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this year.

I'm really hankering after the JL one. I've had it for the past few years and it always worked for me as it had a good mix of skincare, makeup and bodycare but was always priced slightly lower than other premium calendars. I could usually cover most of the cost of it with vouchers that I get through work. The past couple of years, the price seems to have really shot up and I can't justify it. I think I'm going to hang onto my vouchers in the hope of a good beauty box and get that instead.

I’ve got a really horrible virus, had it for over a week now and still feeling lousy. I have now caught up with the thread. I hope everyone who’s going through a rough time at the moment finds some solace within this tiny slice of the universe.

I nearly had FOMO over the SBAC, although I never wanted it to begin with 🙄 I opened the link and it said you are 4,723 in the queue…then I thought how crazy is this and closed it. I did have a notification that I’d lost my place in the queue! If only they could actually send some notifications that were useful!

I am interested in the Harrods home one, but tired of the games every year. I’m sure I’ll be having severe FOMO and hunting it down though 😂

I was gutted to miss the JL FAC release. I normally catch up on MN with a brew and cuddle with DDog before work, but had to go in early today. So typical!
I went on Selfridges mid-morning in a rush and was over 4000 in queue so I abandoned it and decided it’s just not my day so cracked on with my work.

I did also quickly look at LF FAC in between meetings but it came up at £150 for me - how did others get it cheaper?

I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself that I’ve had a rubbish day at work and missed out on some of the advent releases.

@Thelifeofawife sorry to hear that you had a rough day at work. As a solace , we think Selfridges will pop up in stock soon enough and JL would re launch as today might have been a glitch.

And JL frag seems to have been a mistake as well. They srent sokd out, as stores woukd have stock as well. There is no way everybody rushed every JL store. I think they intended to release it later

Thanks for the new thread @IlovePond. I've had a productive afternoon getting chat gpt to amalgamate the contents of Liberty, Harrods and Selfridges and work out a complete skincare routine with them all so that I actually use everything. It did suggest I needed to buy a simple moisturiser for tret days so I ordered a CeraVe one. I need to freeze my debit card in a block of ice now!
