I've just looked properly at rituals. Although the packaging is lovely, they're not very cost effective- £172 and only 6 full size products?! £99 for 2 full products!

I wanted to buy it for me and for my DM, but I could genuinely go into store and curate a much better calendar myself, with many more full size treats, probably with some free samples chucked in from the lovely staff.

I feel the same about L’occitane. Some of the single brand ones just are not producing competitive savings. Then the multi-brand ones are now ridiculously expensive. I don’t think I can justify buying one this year. But they’re clearly popular by the volume selling out on the launch day. Is a shame because soon theere will hardly be any that make the store shelves to look at.

@HollyGolightly4 - in previous years I have picked up Rituals calendars massively reduced and I do like them, but I agree that at full price they are not good value!

Selfridges have wrote on insta in the comments that the 2nd drop of BACs will be in a few days.

Really Ree has her Liberty unboxing up, no leaking broth there. I wonder if Liberty have had a frantic few days of damage control before it went on general sale today?

Does anyone know when the links get sent out for early access to CB today?

I was going to get the signature one but relookingat it, I only want the AB cream and no interest in the bumbum cream or hair root oil. So will probably go for the special edition.

8am is supposed to be early access.

Hello! I have just bought the liberty advent calendar but am now getting a bit of fomo and wondering if I should have bought the Harrods one instead or held out for space NK??

the thing that swayed it for me was the box - it's gorgeous and so festive!

also, I would be interested in hearing about whether any other calendars get significantly reduced closer to Xmas? Am assuming liberty Harrods and space nk sell out but are there any others that don't?

In the panic to order my Harrods FAC I had to checkout as a guest on my work email. I had no account to check for updates so I've gone ahead and setup an account with that email but still no details showing. Hoping that doesn't matter but it makes me a little nervous!

I now have my work email plus two personal emails with Harrods accounts from ordering FACs in previous years too (2025 couldn't login to the account I'd setup for 2024). Once its safely in my hands I might ask customer services to consolidate my points but can't risk it now!

I'm curious about HN and what might happen to those advents if they even exist. I would have expected all the products to be finalised by the takeover date but if HN couldn't pay suppliers maybe they never were? Maybe they sell at a loss and Mike Ashley is not interested?

I don't want CB and it will help me to resist if Sephora grt a move on and confirm details as I'm sure that will be a better option for me.

No mention from SNK yet about a FAC but I hope its coming soon.

I’ve definitely got Advent fatigue. So much gets repeated each year & I’ve got so many unopened items. I’ve decided to skip this year unless some good discounts or I’m tempted by Space NK. I had Elle last year. It was really good but much cheaper too.

@JoRaRaRa thats a shame! With all my login issues I'll need a 4th email ready for 2027 launch day. I was in such a flap last year I even spelt my own name wrong on the order 😅

I doublechecked the CB this morning and clicked on every product. There are just so many mini's/travel sizes. I just cant. These 2 editions are also very frustrating as the special one is very meh and the normal one is just ok ish.

Im inclided to say feck it, ill go with Harrods. But im still salty on the Fragrance bac and me not being able to get in whilst being on time, because of the app having troubles with Android.

I just want one luxury bac but none of them make me feel like going WOW. Harrods doesnt either. Its just the (perceived) value of the skincare if im being honest eith myself.

@TreesinthePark I think you're right about HN and it really depends on whether all the advents were paid for and in existence before the buy out. If they weren't then they may not happen at all.

I'm also interested in Sephora but am annoyed they're waiting so late to give details (outside the leaked details). It remains a maybe for a 2nd BAC. If I do get it I'll probably combine the two with the items I want.

After much deliberation I went for the cult beauty special edition. I'll end up selling the lipstick but I've never had the calendar before and there is enough in it that I want.

I'm going to try to stick to just Sephora, ASOS and perhaps a Korean calendar now. That would take me to 6 which is less than last year and i have explained to my dh, shows my personal growth.

Fingers crossed Sephora is released on my day off otherwise I will be relying on dh to buy it for me and I'm seriously considering taking the day off.
