Finally decided against Harrods, Liberty and CB. Have pre-ordered LF Beauty as I think it is great value and I will use all the expensive items and sell the brands I don't use - will also order Fenwick and SNK FAC and PureSeoul just to try it out - looks good value for the price point.

I caved also and got CB. Couldn’t help myself, took me less than 5 seconds too 😂

I have ordered Harrods and I think I’ll get SNK too and that will be my lot.

i bought three LF calendars yesterday as gifts so feeling pretty noble now, haha

The fomo is strong with the CB calendars! Very lucky I’ve got a cat on my lap and my wallet is in another room. Trying to stop using PayPal so I make more considered purchases, wonder how long that will last.

I could move the cat… must resist…

I got caught up in the excitement of CB dropping today, (and they did send me an email this morning), and had another look. However, there are too many sample/small sizes for me, together with low value stuff that I don’t think should be in a calendar this expensive.

I prefer the perfume version - but setting spray, CW, dry shampoo - not for me!

I wonder how quickly it will sell out - assuming it does. I think the special version will be most popular, but the other does have the AB 🤷‍♀️

Nothing else I really fancy this year except possibly Penhaligons when it’s released but probably too pricey.

Was hoping Elemis would do a 12 day but looks like just the 24 this year and no pro collagen night cream in it.

I think I was getting BAC fatigue by over-analysing all the contents of all the calendars, but the Helena BC Liberty advert had me laughing out loud this morning and I have just happily spent all my beauty drop credit on it. I feel that Liberty has a bit of everything I like, plus a lot of Christmas magic ✨

Right, that's Harrods and Cult Beauty bought, and I'm done. Now I just have to work out how to hide one of them from DH...

I've just bitten the bullet and bought Cult Beauty, though not before having a stern talk with myself and checking my bank accounts multiple times <<fans self>> My family will tell you I'm NOT good at spending money on myself.

I wasn't going to buy the CB at all, but then I saw it was only 195. I ended up ordering one too.

So I forgot to share that I’m having my first baby next week (c section) so my logic and justification for ordering many is that I’ll be sore and in hormone crash hell when they start arriving. I deserve a little pick me up. Right? 😬🤷🏼‍♀️

(we will ignore the fact that last year I also ordered three and I had absolutely no justification for it other than plain greed)

I had and loved Liberty last year (no I didn’t mind all the perfumes as I’d read the contents in advance…), but this year I have looked at them all and have ended up going for…H&B!

I’ve gone through each calendar working out the cost of the items that I really want, and none justify the cost for me, I’ve decided I’d be better buying the items I want and spending the extra on other items I really want.

Anyway, I’ve been using the items from my Liberty calendar since opening them and still have some yet to open as some of the facial skincare is lasting longer than expected.

I thought I was going to want LF based on the list of contents but I watched an unboxing and it put me off so I’m sticking with H&B (I’ll use a lot of the products for travel).

I’ll enjoy reading all the opening threads though.
