I’m not convinced I’ll buy any so far but keeping a close eye on this thread for its reveals. I think I bought Elle last year after seeing it mentioned on a thread & it looks like it could be a good option this year too

For me, I have to love at least 1/3rd of it. The rest I will sell off.

Im still thinking Glossybox or Elle for me. Nothing else is grabbing me so far.

I agree that Sephora is too make up heavy for me, so given I've already got Harrods BAC I need something that really grabs me if I'm going to get a second.

Waiting for CB, but otherwise I might be one and done. Not least because I bought far too much in the SNK sale and got two GWPs in the process, so sorted my stash this afternoon and realised it already has 200 skin/haircare products in it (albeit some are travel size). I'm not sure I have space for much more!

so I have done a full 360 I think it’s either HBAC or LBAC for me unless Harvey Nicks does something outstanding , which I doubt .
I just have to look at what I would use and Huda and SDJ just are not my thing . The make up so difficult . I’ve ordered a palette from Vinted by Mario so that’s sorted that .
or as we have said sit tight and go for a few good edits and fill last years box . I’ve only done this twice but I already have product overload . Selfridges FAC is going to be a long ole wait . I could be talked in and out of it several times by October ! 😂

Random thought. CB hasn't revealed an AB product yet have they? Maybe it's their turn to put the retinol serum in as it hasn't appeared in any of the others that always have an AB product. Although we haven't seen The Rich Cream yet this year I don't think.

If they do have the retinol serum I think I'm locked in to CB.

I think the AB Rich Cream is in the Selfridges one @OvaHere . After the disappointment of the Space NK reveal I'd pretty much decided I wasn't going to bother, but if I do I think that's the one I like the look of the most even though it doesn't seem to be generating that much enthusiasm here.

Fortunately I'm not allergic to bee stings, at least AFAIK

Tempted my this one. It’s a bit practical but seems to get good reviews and usually sells out.

But knowing me I'd still be getting round to putting them on Vinted/eBay years later

But what is it this year with all the spot patches? Loads of the calendars seem to have them.

Ohhh guys I am just so disappointed this year . I think I have advent fatigue and/or my stash is too big .
I usually adore Harrods as it’s such a treat and have had it last 2 years but it’s not doing it for me. Ditto pretty much everything else.
Last year I had Harrods , Space Nk , Boots skincare and the Marly countdown . Oh and Ok as a wee extra Jadvent.
Theres a couple of wow products in each calendar this year ( the Cora etc ) but none that have enough to make me go that’s the one !
I might have to buy the aforementioned products on Vinted. But with fees and postage that really adds up .
i do like the JL FAC as its niche but not too niche ( think I’m looking for mainstream ish perfume notes/ not too oud or just weird but still luxurious or high end which isn’t that easy to find )

Patiently waiting for space nk. I love high end and happy to spend ( see last year 😬) but also love a bargain or an OK or Glossybox . I just enjoy the fun of it .

@BeanNaGealai - spot patches are HUGE in Korea - I saw so many young people and teens wearing them when I went in October! With so many people getting into Kbeauty and Kpop over here, I am not surprised they are turning up everywhere in a/cs - both Korean brands and homegrown. I have no use for them myself but I know loads of kids who adore them and sometimes wear them as beauty spots!

Having said that - I do think it’s a bit daft for companies to be putting them in so many adult calendars/edits/beauty boxes.

Mind you, I felt the same in previous years, when every other item in an edit/box was false lashes, brow gel or fake tan! I associate all of those, (from my own experience), with teens, but I know lots of adults swear by them and are happy if they are in a/cs, etc.

Checking in (a bit). Someone mentioned OK- I got the Latest in Beauty one year and it was excellent! Around the Elle/ 120 mark and was great. Based on the recent boxes, I’m not convinced but has anyone seen any reveals?

Is the rich cream in Selfridges?

I quite like the look of Sephora but I suspect it will be too expensive for what I would be willing to pay.

I am most interested in GB atm.

I got this last year and loved it, they also deliver to Ireland (not Northern Ireland) and price hasn’t changed much as was €165 last year

Ah ok, i didnt really check where they were shipping to. Just mentioned the countries where they have boutiques.

I quite like their edits and boxes too. The Holidays box was a banger last year

I'm actually a recent convert to spot patches and have purposefully bought them. I don't get many spots but the odd occasion I do I find them really useful to put on overnight or if I'm just in the house.

That said. it's not something I want to see in an advent.

Talking of EU advents I've just remembered I really wanted the Niche Beauty one last year but walked myself back from the edge even after I discovered a 20% discount code due to already having bought too many.

Need to look out for that one as it could be a contender again.

It does already have the Paula's choice retinol treatment in, do you think they'd also do the ab retinol serum? It could also be the eye cream, cleansing balm, vit c serum or maybe the rich cream. I'd be so excited if it was the elixir serum, but I don't think there's much chance of that 🤣 I feel we've not had any proper spoilers from CB for a while.

It really was and they do some amazing fragrance boxes, I bought the recent one and they had the Matiere Premiere discovery set reduced by 40% in the archives - the one with Crystal Saffron, Radical Rose and Parisian Musc.
