1st October is a Thursday (if that is the day it becomes available) which is my short day when I finish at 1pm, but knowing my luck they will drop it at 10am like Harrods and it will be gone in a flash. 😏

I'd be surprised if the managers are giving out that sort of information to random people. I'd imagine Selfridges would have some sort of embargo in place for information leaks. Confirming fragrances is a bit different as they've already released an advertising campaign showing fragrance houses and bottles.

I am sure John Lewis fragrance is only launching in third week September so maybe this is more normal

Thanks @ShineDespiteEverything, this confirms that I mainly want the Selfridges for the Lust in Paradise so I shouldn’t be too upset if I miss out. I am pleased I have the Harrods secured…hopefully!

First thoughts on Sephora. It's good and there's a lot in there but really the MBM palette is doing the heavy lifting for me in terms of things I want. Lots of usable stuff I like is in there but also some duplicates of stuff I have and I'm not sure I need to own all of that in one go just for the palette.

Sephora IIRC is not a bad price point - around £225?

Sorry to be a party pooper but are these BB really worth it? I got advance notice of the JL one and decided there were so few products I'd use that I'd not bother. I don't want sample size fragrance and would far rather they focused on skin care and neutral make up. Often, the make up is shades that don't sell.
They are great if you will use all the products or give them as gifts but not my experience.

If you look on Sephora it’s got the wrong picture but right contents list, looks like also a Fugazzi and it’s £235, last year there was £20 or £25 back in points

Sometimes they are but not always which is why we spend months dissecting them. 😂At the end of day it's down to personal preference re skincare, make up and fragrance.

I can't see anything on Sephora site. It still shows as the waitlist.

Not keen on the look of Sephora, I think so far it's between Harrods and Selfridges for me although Glossy Box looks interesting depending on what else is in there. I'll still be joining the Selfridges FAC scrum but will console myself with the JL FAC if I dont get it, although that may have gone by the time Selfridges release theirs, doesn't JL release at the end of September?

I used the app and searched for Sephora Favourites and see the two edits and the advent, if you click on the advent the contents are 2026

I do think it's a much better BAC than last year though. Maybe I'll change my mind again. I tend to do that. 😁

Possibly but glad I have seen it. It’s on my list to get, I wanted a makeup and fragrance leaning advent so this is up my street, only makeup item I won’t use is the Haus Labs.
