Here's hoping for lots more spoilers, bargains, discount codes, and maybe a little self-control (although judging by threads 1 and 2, that seems unlikely! 😄)

This is always a struggle every year as nothing ever quite fits the young teen demographic. I'd probably look for out for something that works in part (possibly Glossybox or Lookfantastic) then replace a few unsuitable items with stuff that works better - perhaps by picking up bits on Vinted from other BACs.

Yes I quite like the Revolution one for her. She looked at the Sence one but I wasn’t impressed. She had 17 last year, could go for that again. Thanks - reasonable offers too. Much more budget friendly! 😂

@Nomorechocs Latest in Beauty are still to release, usually better for younger than older, generally available via TikTok for a cheaper price.
also look out for Glossybox, Next, You Beauty, Ok, and I think glamour discover last year?

Sephora Collection might be worth a look. These are the 2025 ones Sephora Collection Advent Calendars 2025

I'd go for ASOS for her age group. Last few years it has been discounted in October and I have picked it up for around £70ish.

@Nomorechocs A few of the drugstore type make up brands do calendars, like Profusion and ELF as well as Revolution. Last year Revolution did a calendar with lots of lip glosses, body sprays, shower gels etc in, as well as their make up one.

Agree with @openended that ASOS would be good too.

@Nomorechocs - as recommended above by @openended ASOS is a really good choice for teen age group . Dd has had it a couple of times over the last 4-5 years.

edited to add The Body Shop one was also a previous hit if you don’t want too much make up but more bath etc

I went to have a look at the F&M one and discovered they have a tea and biscuit one that looks amazing. Unfortunately they don't ship it to Ireland so I went on the hunt for similar and found an amazing website (https://www.bienmanger.com/2S_Search.html?order=relevance&mc=advent) doing all sorts of food websites, in case anyone is interested.

Sorry for the derail. I know this is mean to be BAC and FAC but thought they might be of interest to some people.

Like the look of the BienManger one (and the tea & biscuits one) - I think I might be done with beauty calendars this year as nothing so far has hit the spot. The Liberty one is a big disappointment.

Hard no to that nasty Davines oil shampoo that makes your hair all limp and Escentric Molecule No 1, a fragrance that seems to pop up in every calendar ever, presumably as they can't get anyone to buy it (idea: maybe making it smell better would help??). Agh, I'm just being harsh, but I'm still waiting to be blown away by one.

On the food ones - I’ve had the Bonne Maman jam one and that was good.

I actually like the 01. It's the 02 I hate. I think they're meant to smell different on different people though?

I rarely eat jam so that would be a no for me. It does look good though for jam eaters

I've often wondered about this and the fact that the mini jars end up working out over a pound a pop. You can buy 15 mini jars for £5.99 on amazon so could make a DIY one using an old advent (admittedly, not as many flavours). Actually, I might do this.

Similarly, the St Eval tealight advent is about £50 and I absolutely can not fathom paying £2 per tealight. It seems bonkers to me when I know the actual price of buying a couple of packs of the tealights is much less.

I might do myself a Bonne Maman mini cake advent. I am absolutely in love with the raspberry and almond mini cakes at the moment. They are individually wrapped so would work.

Agree - i only tried the 01 recently, even though it's been around for ages, and was surprised how much I liked it! If it's in a few calendars this year, I'll try to pick it up on vinted. Though I have soooo much perfume already to get through 😅

I'm always happy to hear about interesting non-beauty advent calendars too. My sis and I love the beauty ones, but Mum is less interested, so we're always on the lookout for something a bit different for her!

I like 01 too, and the 01+ range. I haven't got on with any of the other numbers though.

I like the 01 - which is a shame as I sold two travel sizes for peanuts before realising I liked it 🙈

I’m not even joking when I say that my two favourite calendars last year were my bargain Twinings and the super bargainous Chuckling Cheese calendars!

Can I ask where you saw the F&M tea and biscuit one ? I bought it for my mum 2 years ago and she loved it.
All the links etc that I can find are to that calendar - there doesn’t seem to be a newer one ??

I’m not impressed at the f&m perfume choices! The chose the cheapest ones and the 50ml one initially looked like the ££ one but actually they have put the cheap version of it in that’s only £85 instead of the £385 one! Other perfume was £36 for 30ml! Not even a decent moisturiser this year! At least last year we got cult 51 moisturiser and decent serum. Probably for the best as otherwise I’d have bought it 🤷‍♀️😂🤣

for teenage girls get them the no7 one from boots? Or the Plouise one? There’s still last Xmas available for around £100 - £150 cheaper than original price and the items will still be in date
