I got an email late Wednesday night from Fortnum & Mason saying the BAC was ready to pre order & had a look & it was definitely still available to pre order even yesterday

So just clicked on the link again to order & it now says say coming soon.
Sounds like someone in the F&M office got a bit over excited.

@Peachbubble I visited a Pure Seoul for the first time this year so that's definitely one to look out for as YesStyle etc. are a bit of a nightmare to get due to the time difference and they seem to sell out before you can even load the page.

I went to Ashford outlet today and asked about Advents in the rituals shop as there were none on the shop floor. They had two- the advent wreath and the village with lights. I bought the village for £65, just because I loved it when I first saw it I think 3 years ago.

I had the village one. It was lovely. It put me off single brands as my only BAC though. I'm ashamed to admit by about day 10 I was feeling a bit 'oh look more Rituals'. First world problems. 😂

I will feel the same - not an exciting calendar but it will be a very pretty decoration and everything will get used.

I've just realised that whilst a candle is normally a big draw for me i have a newborn, so it'll be sat in the cupboard gathering dust!

I just bought one of these. I kept meaning to after seeing them recommended on one of the threads. Maybe it was you.

I love it. Just ordered another for DS to take back to Uni, he loves it too.

I also bought one of those candle lamps after seeing on another thread, and have been eyeing up another for my bedroom.
I got mine more because of my dog, she’s very good but every now and then she goes wild with her teddies and starts flipping them in the air then jumps up and catches them (it’s so cute 🥰). I also really like that my current candle is lasting ages with it

Oh wow that's a great price. Its still £96 on their online outlet shop. I have just realised that I have an outlet fairly close to me here in NE England, so I might try and get down that way.

I bought teo this time last year off the back of the Christmas bargains threads. I have one in my bedroom and I absolutely love it. It's been cold, dark rainy and miserable here for the past week so it's really cheered me up with an assortment of different scents. (Plus the actual glow of the lamp)

Edited to add: oh yes and its great that the candles seem to last forever under the lamps. A massive bonus if you have an expensive one, or one of the few limited edition ones I have that go viral and you cant get your hands on any more.

Yes I felt like that about the White Company one two years ago. Still dont know what I was thinking.

Has anyone else had the Happy Anthroperks anniversary email this morning? 20% off your next purchase. Makes me think that their advent is now imminent. Only 7 days to use the discount, so fingers crossed!

ETA: Just checked my account and I ordered the Anthropologie on 13th August last year. Fairly sure that was the day it was released.

I felt exactly the same with the Jo Malone one a couple of years ago but at least knew I’d use everything.
Last year the 12 day Elemis one was my favourite ❤️- just enough without thinking as above .
Im actually quite tempted this year with the 12 day Harrods one plus the 12 day Elemis one if they do it again and then that’ll be December covered 😂

I’m waiting to see the SNK and Jo Malone ones. I want minimal makeup (mascara ok) and minimal hand creams. I hate seeing the same old samples dished out every year.

I bought one of the candle lamps as well after I read about them on a thread here and Im really pleased with it. I’ve been using it with one of the big Jo Malone candles and it works very well. But I’m not clear how the lamps work because the level of wax in the jar doesn’t seem to have gone down noticeably after loads of uses . Do people throw the candles away eventually because all the scent has been burned off and the wax doesn’t smell any more, or does the amount of wax gradually reduce/evaporate?
