Every year I rule out the CB calendar because the make up colours won’t suit me and looks like this year will be the same.

I’m more into skincare and fragrance anyway, so anyone leading their spoilers with lots of make up puts me off rather than tempting me.

Thanks for the new thread @JoRaRaRa, and I know you’ll be able to work some of these out. I’m seeing a SDJ spray? Could have guessed that anyway 😂

@ElizabethG81 that's what I thought too. The others seem a bit too general and could be anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I thought the tube at the top could possibly be Medik8 eye cream but I’m probably only thinking that because it’s silver.

Thanks for the new thread @JoRaRaRa, looking forward to some more reveals and lots of discussion. I wonder if Glamour will do another advent this year? I know it didn't get much love here last year but I really enjoyed that one and I'm still using a lot of it. The Vieve muse pallete was gorgeous.

I'm interested to see what Glossybox comes up with this year. It was a pretty good offering last year for the price point. I didn't buy it in the end but came close.

They've revamped the box this year from the usual chest style box - those appear to have fallen out of fashion with most brands now.

Thank you also for @OvaHere for inspiring us all to explore beauty in all its guises.

I loved the chest style box last year and it's still going strong here. It makes me feel like all of the others are the same. Even F&M feels disappointing this year to me. Pretty, but not different enough.

Last year's Rituals wreath was nice, but not a patch on the 'Village' style the year before. I'd like to see a real retro style one reminiscent of 1970's old advent calendars - glitter included - (never going to happen as they are all trying to go for recycling options now and rightly so) Also, so far, I haven't been impressed with the candle offerings which are a big draw for me. Hopefully some good ones still to be revealed as it's early days.

I've liked this brand since I discovered them in Fenwick about 30 years ago (I think they were Arran Apothecary then) but it doesn't represent enough of a saving for me. Sad, but true.
