I only ever buy the 3 wick Real Luxury candle from Neom and it’s lovely . Nothing else has the wow factor for me tbh .

This was like me last year, it never occured to me that people would have more then 1, so then I just went wild last year 🙈🤣 My dining table was covered in them and it's a big table.

Thanks soo much for the new thread @JoRaRaRa. so many posts in just one evening so I’m going to read through them now. I’m already on 3 advents, however they are all preorder so until they are in my hand they don’t count esp as there’s no guarantee that Harrods will deliver. I’ve decided that the value saving with advents mean that I might go a bit crazy and stock up for the entire year. Let’s not mention that I already have at least a years worth of stash- forward planning is a good thing right?

I googled it as they sound interesting. apparently you pour out the top layer of wax when it stops smelling.

@Fillybuster technically, a 12 day calendar is for the twelve days of Christmas- Christmas Day to January 5th- so no conflict with an advent calendar at all. You definitely need at least one of each 🥰

I had this one 5/6 years ago and I think it was only about £60 then - it was a beautiful box with a stag on ( which is what lured me in) but apart from the 24th which was a full sized hand cream the rest were all miniature.

It did feel a bit like I’d been given all the spare bits off a hotel housekeeper’s trolley.

Stop it! I have willpower.

Of course we all know what will happen. After all, there are 24 days in advent and I only have 12 days covered. Particularly as Harrods have no double drawers. .

@Growlybear83 i have noticed quite a few candles on Vinted that are being sold as new but have clearly been used with a candle warmer lamp. You can tell because there will be a slight dip around the wick if a reset candle and the wax will spring ever so slightly from the sides of the jar.
It makes me quite cross. The candles are unlit but very definitely used,

I want this. Not sure how easy they are to get over here.

I got an xmas candle in a Revolve edit in 2024 and used it all through xmas last year. I thought they were lovely. It was the nicest pine scent I've tried.

Thanks. That looks like last years maybe as the box is different. Not that it matters. Just not sure I can bring myself to spend that much on candles. Looks like they do sell a few individual candles though.

Oh it appears that Voluspa themselves ship to the UK. I may have to buy one of the Noble Fir candles again for xmas. Can highly recommend this one for a christmas tree scent.

With the candle warmer lamp, I don't keep it on until the whole thing is liquid, just a couple of inches, then turn it off. The scent lasts a while and it means that once the smell weakens I can pour a bit off the top that's lost its fragrance.

That does look a lovely collection . I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of or seen that brand so sadly it may not be available . The only American brand I’ve seen here is Harry Slatkin Homeworx that QVC sell .

I can highly recommend the french cade scent from voluspa - i first tried it from anthropologie almost 20 years ago. the brand is now sold in JL.

I’m planning on Space NK for me, and Cult Beauty for my dd

I love the Real Luxury ones and always have a few scattered around the house. I also love the magnesium body butter in the same scent. Lovely to massage into my aching joints before bed.

The one in the Boots scent AC is the Happiness candle and ut always seems to be the one that's included in ACs. Its also the only one I don't like from Neom. It was in one of the main ACs last year. So Boots is a no from me. Mind, all Boots ACs are usually a no from me.

Ohh , i like the look of the Boots FAC and the Skincare one. I love the Givenchy, ive had multiple bottles of it. But, ive loads of mini bottles from other advents over the years, so i might be sensible and give it a miss🫣

That does look lovely . I’ve just ordered the amber from JL to try it but I may have to buy this aswell as I love a Christmas scent .
