Oh no I’ve just received the F & M email to preorder , but I really want the Diptique, but what if I don’t like much of what’s in it , then I’ve missed the F & M . Ahhh this is terrible 😢

@JoRaRaRa I like the Givenchy. I have a mini dabber from last years LF advent which I keep meaning to decant into a spray bottle.

Im afraid there is only one thing to do under the circumstances - buy F&M and then Diptyque as well if you like it. 😆😆

Broke the news to DH over dinner last night that I was considering buying a BAC for myself (note “considering” and the use of the singular, please!). His initial response was quite unenthusiastic (per previous posts, different culture / religion, Xmas really not a thing in our household in any way) until I explained cost vs content value plus fun.

Not that I really need his permission, but in general we tell each other about buying stuff when it’s a reasonable chunk of change.

Anyway, all good. Hurrah!

(Except of course now I’m wondering if maybe I need the JL FAC as well)

I received it in the 2022 John Lewis AC and then asked my mum for a full bottle for Christmas. I've since collected a few more dabbers that I take away with me. That's the only thing with the minis, they are dabbers. Although I'm sure the kayali is a spray, it's been a while since I last wore it 🤔

I'm not too fussed about a neom candle, I still have a load from the ftf mystery bundle.

A lot of them seem to be doing this products-in-shadow this year as teasers. It’s like the equivalent to romance thriller bookcovers a few years back where there was always a couple running, in shadow. Are they all using the same photographers?

This tends to be my approach too. I make my husband think I'm asking his permission and it's a joint decision, when I know that even if he didn't think it was a good idea, I'd still be buying it 🤣

I don’t think so. In fact I think today was the first time they’ve officially confirmed there even is one (although it was pretty obvious).

Of course you need fragrance one too. You need to smell as new as you will look with all the skincare/makeup. You’d be unbalanced if you don’t have both.

I ended up with a lot of calendars last year 🙈 I'm hoping for a bit more self control this year, but that's not really something I have, so I might be asking a bit too much of myself 😆
